“User-friendly. No elaborate training required

Pros

Amazing Charts software is impeccably simple to use, the interface is neat and well laid-out. Navigation through the system is very easy. Tasks can be done with no difficulty without needing too many clicks. You can get your stuff to run the system within a day of training or less. The system has many functionalities specific to the specialty. This is by far the best Dental software I have used.

Cons

There are a few features that need upgrading. reports are not comprehensive. The system is very easy to use, so much that it borders into simplistic and unprofessional to look at.

Pros

Out of many options, it is one of the better EMRs out there. The good part is that the provider is given the whole note, which is quite important for the software user. Going through a lot of tabs is difficult, so this is an immense help for the user. The software’s clean interface also helps in making it user-friendly.

Cons

Despite being a good software to use, there’s a heavy cost for upgrades, which are problematic. In my company, my boss didnt upgrade until it was absolutely needed due to the steep costs it would add to our budget. In reality, the upgrade really made the prescription process slower and that is a downside to using this software.

“Don’t trust Amazing Charts

Pros

The software has an easy to learn and easy to use interface, which really helps the software-user. The software also has a system that makes it easy to print prescriptions. Apart from that, Amazing Charts also lets you set up an off-site back up which comes in handy for our treatment center.

Cons

The software has its fair share of problems. It often shuts off and sometimes the notes dont save when they are filed. It also has an issue that we never know when the software will be working when we come in the morning. Apart from the software’s internal issue, there’s a severe problem with their service. I would suggest that no one should provide their business credit card or debit card to the company. Our company learned the hard way when they debited over a thousand dollars too much. We have called millions of times trying to get a refund.

“Easiest amongst problematic software

Pros

In a list of problematic products that are available on the market, Amazing Charts is the easiest to use. We have used the product for an approximate 5 years and truly, it is one of the swiftest and most user-friendly programs I have come across. The software also brings simplicity with the idea that there’s less clicking involved. Plus, the best part it you can go as simple or as fancy with its format.

Cons

While Amazing Charts brings an easy to use accessibility for its clients, the number of upgrades that are provided are making sure that there’s more clicking required. This is a downfall for the software as it is making the product more tedious to use.

Pros

Amazing Charts EHR has always provided an ease of use and ability to use out of the box, which have made it one of the best softwares there are to use for these best features. In that sense, the EHR remains a better one out there. It is a great choice for small practices if they are willing to chuck out money.

Cons

While other softwares out there are improving their program, the new owners behind the software seem to have spent their development money on planning out new ways to coerce more funds from owners over features they were promised to have in the past. Honestly, the current version doesnt even meet the ability to meet MIPS without paying thousands of dollars in purchasing additional expansions. Also, a word of advise, dont leave your credit card on file or they use it for purchases that you didnt request.

“Great software once learned

Pros

For a small group of clinicians, the EHR is extremely functional and I would recommend it especially for such users. Usually, paperless charts transition is something I imagine many people face a problem with. However, regardless of the program, Amazing Charts has made it really easy.

Cons

Amazing Charts may be a very functional software, but the learning curb to use it was challenging for some employees. That said, once everyone understood the system, employees reported that it was easier to use than anything else. Would definitely recommend this program! I only suggest that one should be prepared for the transition process. Just make sure that you and your employees are ready to take time out to learn it.

Pros

Amazing Charts has proven that it’s really easy to use and is also reasonably priced for the user. Their tech support is helpful in fixing up a problem, and the best part is that you can add additional features that fit your practice – although at a price. In their latest version, it also shows you that the software is now MIPS certified. Given how it has helped us, we have recommended this product to many other practices that all currently use it.

Cons

This software has a few downfalls such as that the MIPS system is relatively complicated to use and sometimes requires the staff to be retrained to use this software. Also, upgrading to the newest version shows that there is no longer free tech support. Plus, now the support takes about 24 hours to get back to you, which is not good.

“The UI is annoying

Pros

Amazing Charts does have an intuitive interface and the best part is that you can take a free trial to analyze it whether it’s suitable for your company or not. This helps in deciding how important the software is for anyone. It has included the ICD9 catalog in the latest version and that is a plus.

Cons

On the flipside, the UI can get annoying. So many times, everything is overloaded, sometimes it is not even relevant information that I need for my company. Also, with the new updates, it takes one too many clicks to find something and that makes it difficult to use. I would want that that the system stops freezing because of this software.

“Helpful EMR

Pros

The best part is that this software helps me put down little notes next to the patient’s information which becomes quite vital for my service. It proves to be a great EMR system when needed and in that sense, I would recommend it because of its helpfulness. It also has a relatively good value for money and that is something I found good.

Cons

Although this software does not have many cons, the major one is that it freezes because of which I have to completely shut down and reboot my system. If this continues then it will become a hassle to even use this system. The software providers need to look into this as soon as possible.

“Great software but didn’t work for us

Pros

As soon as we found the trial for Amazing Charts, we decided it was worth a trial run to see if it was a good fit for us and if it will help us in the long-run. During our trial, we found that the input from it was great as employees reported that no training was required to understand it. It was also very user-friendly and easy going and we loved it for that reason.

Cons

Although Amazing Charts is great to use and makes for a fitting software for many, it was not a good fit for us since we werent really involved in the health records line. We tried to use it as a gateway for something else and didnt work out.

“Not so amazing.

Pros

I liked how when you open the system, the little stick figure gives a daily message, and the stick figure itself looked good as well. Apart from that I don’t think there was anything in particular that I liked, just the daily morning messages. And yeah, its name as well. The name of the product is nice.

Cons

Something that I’ve learnt and want everyone to know is that never choose an EMR just because of its price, there needs to be other factors as well that matters while selecting an EMR for your practice. It sucks when you write a message and rather than staying there as it should unless you delete it or so, it just vanishes. That’s like the biggest con which needs to be addressed. Albeit, we’ve addressed the problem to them many times but, yet they haven’t done anything to improve it. It’s like a session expires and all the message you typed just vanishes, due to a long pause while completing the task.

“Works well alongside Dragon

Pros

The software proves that It is simple to learn the basics if you just understand the software once. It also works great alongside Dragon, which of course, is a plus. Due to Amazing Chart’s simplicity, it is also super easy to use it without getting lost in the charts, which is a pain otherwise.

Cons

In terms of the amount being paid for this software, I would like more features. Also, we have major issues with the updating of the billing codes in this software. There are several problems in regards to the pages, as they are not laid out in a manner that maximizes the space available. For instance, the prescription writing page has huge blank gaps. I would prefer to see more of the medical profile than what it shows.

“decent system for pediatric practice

Pros

The appointments/visits section is very well-organized. It allows for documentation to be done in a timely manner making it easy to read past encounters. The system offers a lot of features that are easy to utilize.

Cons

The system is quite simplistic. The features it offers are promising but some of them direly need to be updated. A few aspects of the system are flawed and unsuitable for a clinical setting such as when you need to add an extension, it creatures a whole past encounter, and you will have to manually delete the diagnosis from the overview chart. The system does not allow you to create your own diagnostic templates which is an inconvenience.

The software is quite user-friendly and provides an overall simple interface that helps the user in making it really accessible. It also is a plus that Amazing Charts has a function that makes it easy to add users. Apart from that, the prescription management is good.

Cons

The functionality of the software towards informing about interactions and warnings based on heath problems about medicinal contraindications are pretty poor. In addition, the customer support is almost non-existent and has suffered over the last year. The MIPPS support is very poor and makes it a hassle to use. With the help of a government contractor, I still wasnt able to get the reporting submitted despite working on it for two months!

Pros

I love the fact that the software is simple and tailor-made for a small practice. The point that it has a referral module also makes it quite essential. In comparison to the other EMR software I tried and was dismayed by to see that confidential PMI is in a frame on the opening page, Amazing Charts puts it behind a file tag.

Cons

The software severely needs a better update. I don’t prefer the graphic format and I find that the font is unpleasant. Apart from an upgrade, I would prefer an integrated fax, not UPDOX on this EMR. Additionally, AC needs to look at the product support they are offering to those on the west coast, where we can’t receive evening support.

“Comprehensive program with great charting

Pros

Scheduling and Charting with Amazing Charts are very convenient. The system compacts all data into a chart very neatly in a way that is comprehensive and easy to read. Encounters are very well-organized and I love how there is verification for appointments. The system saves the staff and physicians a lot of time and effort with its automated appointment scheduling system.

Cons

You cannot switch screens without losing unsaved progress. Like in the messaging portion, if I have a message typed and I switch screens, my message will have disappeared upon switching back.

Pros

The best of the features so far. All necessary functionalities are available and work best for small practices.

Cons

It needs to be more secure and MIPS system is little complicated, and the tech support is also less likely to be there. Information is slightly overloaded and most of the time you don’t even require that data.

“My 3rd EMR but my favourite

Pros

I have used two EMRs before this and I have to say this one just takes the cake. It provides supervision of nurse practitioners and that makes it really helpful. It also has great supervision from support, despite many giving it criticism. I primarily use the online chat and It honestly would be rare that I cant get someone on chat who can walk me through it. Also, this software makes E-prescribing easy as all pharmacies are listed.

Cons

The electronic prescribing of controlled substance is cumbersome and while Exostar was supposed to be better than Verizon – which previously used to run it, it still hasn’t come up to par. Report generation and letter writer could also be improved.

“Cost and ease of use making it one of the best

Pros

I find that the cost and ease of use surely makes Amazing Charts one of the best software I have used. The ability to try before you buy is a major plus, and for our company it proved to be really helpful. Also, unlike many others I have always been able to get help through Angel support when needed. In comparison to many others, AC is the easiest and least expensive EMR I have used.

Cons

While there are so many good things about Amazing Charts, the increase in cost continues to be a major problem for us. I wish there was a subscription-based option as that would be better like many EMRs are doing now. Also if something can be done about the Inability to track patient location, that would be great!

“Easy to learn UI

Pros

There are a few other EMRs as good as Amazing Charts when it comes to how easy to learn and use it is. It has a great UI that integrates with many other applications seamlessly and that is why it makes for the perfect choice for us. Its customizable and easily teachable to other users.

Cons

Out of all the good that AC brings, the customer support is the major downer. It can be difficult especially to communicate with them when there’s an emergency need for it and they are unavailable. Also, when trying to utilize customizable functions within the program, it is almost as if it won’t function if not set correctly.
