Great templates but support is slow

Pros

The best features and also works great with templates that one can easily convert into a description.

Cons

There are some problems regarding billing department and when you try to reach customer support they reach back in many days.

Review

Pros

This software is the easiest and simple to utilize Electronic Health Records system I have ever used. Charting and scheduling are a breeze with Amazing Charts. The company IT support team is top notch. They are available by chat at all times, are amiable, patient and almost always fix any issues that you are facing. The system integrates with billing system quite well, it does not take too much effort to send bills to the billing software. AC is intuitive and innovative. It offers customization but that takes a while to figure out. The system is super easy for the staff to learn.

Cons

The backups are a hassle. The office backup set doesnt cull old backups and require manually removing them. Getting ACs own backup package is a better option than storing them locally.

Awesome EHR service

Pros

I have not used any EHR system as good as Amazing Charts throughout my medical professional career. The system is very easy to use and the interface is extremely user-friendly, anyone can use it with no prior training. We use it in a family health specialty clinic and the system has so far fulfilled all our practice needs. Integration with labs and pharmacy is seamless. Ordering test results and e-prescriptions are super easy with this system.

Cons

I wish it had a speech-to-text dictation feature. One account cannot be used by more than one person at a time. The system prevents a second login. I see how that may be for user-privacy but it can be a little inconvenient.

Below average service. Terrible Customer support

Pros

The system offers the utmost ease of use. Amazing charts is very cheap and a suitable choice for small/ independent practices that are just starting out. For us, however, it used to work fine at first but the system has terribly downgraded in its functions over the past years ever since they introduced meaningful use.

Cons

There is no readily available customer support. Any issues we encounter have to wait until days later they may be addressed by the support staff, even then there is no guarantee of a resolution. none of the functions work properly anymore. Customization options are poor where there are allowed, and lacking altogether in some key features. The company has awful partnership vendors such as Newcorp RX.

Good service but expensive

Pros

Amazing Charts is incredibly easy to navigate. I have been using it for almost 4 years now and I have not encountered any major issues with its functionality. The features are well organized and intuitive. It is great for specialty practice because AC provides you tailored features according to your practice needs. However, they have increased their prices.

Cons

The software has grown more and more expensive over the years. They charge you separately for every feature you may use, for example, patient portal, messaging, customer service, controlled substance RX, lab. I have to pay for every service which sums up to a larger amount than one would pay for an all-inclusive EHR service. Lately, they have been waiting for us to pay them per patient. Even my nurse employees have to sign in as a full user which is such a waste of money in my opinion. It is a good service, I admit. But I cannot keep up with the company ripping us off and we are considering switching.

Slow and frustrating

Pros

The system is very easy to use once you do manage to log into it. Accessing charts and notes is fairly simple. Retrieving documents from the EHR takes minutes. Demos and notes are easy to locate.

Cons

For a reason, I fail to understand, it is almost impossible for me to log into the system in the first attempt. It takes two to four attempts every single time to log in successfully.it can be very frustrating as it holds up patients and delays care, first thing in the morning.

Fully integrated practice management solution

Pros

This EMR is user-friendly, and they offer free trials as well. It has been top rated by many other users. It is ICD-10 compliant and 2014 Meaningful Use certified as well. It is better than the last EMR that we used. It’s been designed by a physician that’s why it is much better and efficient than any other EMR designed by a layman. With fewer clicks you can easily document more. It is a great product and I must say, it has solved our problems that we had using other EMRs.

Cons

I’d have to say that although it is affordable, but they keep on increasing the price of the product and for any additional functionality you want, you have to pay an extra for it. I can’t keep up with their increasing rates, and because of that I’d have to say that I am definitely going to switch due to this only reason.

Highly recommended

Pros

It is a great software, and I do recommend people to use it. It is easily adaptable according to your requirements. It is easy to use, simple, and their technical support team is super friendly and helpful as well. It has helped me focus on my profession and take good care of my patients. It has also been quite easy for my support staff to use it. It is AMAZING!

Cons

There are no cons to this product. They’ve always helped me sort out any problems that I face and help me work better. It has been better than many other EMRs that I’ve used in the past.

LOYAL customer

Pros

Its name says it all. Amazing Charts are literally amazing. I’ve been using this EMR since 2008 and I’ve used quite a lot of their versions. Out of all of the versions I’d say version 9 of amazing charts is the best. Although, it doesn’t meet government requirements, but these government regulations are soon going to fail, so I’d rather have an EMR that does all, rather than going out again to find an EMR that follows government requirements but not pleases me. It is really easy to use. It is intuitive as well. Office messaging system is great. Printing reports the way we learnt in medical school, which is amazing. The price of this product is quite reasonable. Their customer support team are truly nice and amazing bunch of people, always helping.

Cons

For me, there’s nothing negative about this company, I find it quite amazing, and being a loyal customer since 2008 speaks for itself.

Amazing experience with Amazing Charts

Pros

AC has some great things to offer at a very cheap cost which makes it very suitable for small and independent practices. No other EMR software of this scale came close to AC. The company provides training once in a while although it is so easy to use, there is rarely any need for that. Been using the software for the better part of a decade, and I have been very satisfied with it. Their online faxing service (Updox) is very helpful. It provides a HIPPA compliant email. The best thing about AC is how easily accessible patient-database is. They offer decision support which is a tracking area we use for projects like meaningful use, MIPS, HEIDIS, and PCMH. It allows editing which is very helpful. No waste of paper or manual effort.

Cons

Customer service is only readily available through online chat but never call. They will often log into whichever computer is having a problem and fix it on the spot without any prior warning.

Not good.

Pros

I dont really have a lot to say about it. Just one thing, if youre a single doctor running their clinic then this system is good for you, but if there are more physicians then I would recommend that you should find some other vendor.

Cons

There is a lot of procedure needed post payments. The system regularly goes down and the technical support is really slow in responding. Duplicating information is impossible.

Easy to use.

Pros

To document, it has all the important and major areas. It is easy to use as well.

Cons

The support team isnt great. They do help but they take around 72 hours to call you. When I tell them that my system is down only then I get an immediate call back from them.

Good but slow

Pros

It is a good product. It is simple and easy to use. It doesnt have any learning curve to it. It doesnt require a lot of clicks to get anywhere.

Cons

It was a good product but after upgrades, it became really slow. It is extremely slow especially when we want to prescribe medications.
