This is great!

Pros

It is relatively easy to use. Better than the other systems we have used. It works for office visits and telemedicine as well.

Cons

My experience was good

Pros

Checking in, scheduling and billing is easy. Once you have completed one part of the form you can immediately jump to the next without missing a beat.

Cons

There are too many authorizations required but I guess that is part of the security measures

Pros

I like the overall system and it has an attractive layout. It lets you preview the schedule so you know what is planned for the day.

Great overall

Pros

Athena is a great overall solution because it allows you to add billing to the software modules at a lower price. You can also have the EMR and outsource the billing to another provider.

The patient portal is not very user-friendly and it sends notifications to patients for messages when there are not any in the inbox.

Extremely costly

Pros

Easy to run reports as all are custom made for each practitioner.

Cons

They cheat for what they give, promising you completely useful charging capability but all you get is the electronic parcel. They guarantee somebody would be working yor claims when all they do is send one or two emails and nothing additional is collected. I have to utilize two different individual when Athena promised we wouldnt require anyone but them.

Fooled by misleading billing promises

Pros

I can run reports tailored to each practitioner.

Cons

They charge far more than what you actually get. they sell this as having full billing functionality but in reality I only received the electronic submission piece. They told us someone would be 'working our claims,' yet all that ever happens is one or two emails with no further collections. Because of that, I ended up hiring two additional staff members despite Athena's assurance that we wouldn't need extra help. I feel completely bamboozled by their misleading promises!

Pros

I really cant think of any at the moment.

Cons

They dont know the way to conduct business. Also I think that the appointment reminders is not a proper way to give instructions about the reminders. Scheduling is also an issue. It is not possible to select multiple days for appointments.

An advanced EHR software

Pros

Not long ago I started using this software. It has helped me a lot in several ways i.e storing patient data and setting up appointments. I switched to this software as it is modernized and due to the fact that this is web-based, I can access my data from anywhere.

Cons

In this software, I usually face problems in operating the interface of EHR software. As I mentioned earlier that I am a new user, I still am trying to cope with the Software but it still needs a change in navigating the interface.
