I love the flexibility of incorporating many different documents for various events. Customer support has always been top-notch. I get personal attention, professional yet personable, and they always work quickly to solve any issues.

The fee structure seems more suited to a camp property than an organization like ours, which operates remotely and conducts seasonal events.

The ease of use and resources which allow new staff to be independently trained on CampDoc use have saved us time and money. The features in Program Management allow me to track enrollment and create reports to distribute for statistics as well as everyday use. Prior to CampDoc, we were an all paper-based organization, which did not allow for sensitive information to be secure or to be retrieved from numerous locations. This has saved so much time and extra resources that we would be lost without it. All parent information is collected and used in the Parent Portal. It is critical for our staff in the field to be able to access sensitive information in a secure portal, and CampDoc drives our success in collaborating with parents.

The CampDoc team has been incredibly helpful in our transition from our old software. Some of my favorite features include the help line for users and parents, the save-as-you-go feature, and the overall layout of forms.

Most parents find CampDoc easy to use and navigate. All the health forms and pertinent information are easily accessible to me and my camp staff. It is a highly functional system that allows me to collect, organize, and store the information needed to run a camp program safely and efficiently. It is customizable for my needs and allows me to download data.

Cons

Some of the features that I had asked about years ago are now in place (like using CampDoc for attendance), but they are offered for an additional fee. CampDoc is well worth the fee, but a feature like attendance is something that I would imagine every camp program could use; it would be nice if it were included in the regular fee.

Some features I suggested years ago, like using CampDoc for attendance, are now available but at an extra cost. While CampDoc is worth the fee, basic features like attendance should ideally be included in the standard fee.

“Easy to Use and Minimal Maintenance

Pros

Its so much easier to use than some other camp software. My biggest reason for signing up, apart from paying several hundred per month less, was the minimal amount of paper I have to deal with. Everything is done electronically with eSignatures. Such a timesaver for us so far.

Cons

Some terms take time to get used to, and reporting differs from what we're accustomed to, but it should improve with more use.

Pros

I appreciate the ability for participants to register and pay online, as well as the digital approach to forms. Online forms save me countless hours during the summer season. It's also easy to print out forms for host venues that require it.

Cons

It would be incredibly beneficial if CampDoc could generate emails to collect data and input it into a participant's account, streamlining processes like teacher recommendations.

I liked the ease of CampDocs. The team responsible for our account was always responsive and available to help me navigate the software.

CampDocs lacked financial reporting. The dashboard never cleared after completing the season, so I would see this big number, but that number was cumulative of how many sales, etc., we had since the beginning of time. It was very confusing and made reporting very difficult. Also, I could not enter our camp seasons on my own. Their team had to go in and do it for me, and then there was a testing phase before it went live. Sometimes that made us have to push back registration, which was an inconvenience.
