“Easy to customize

Pros

I appreciate how easy it is for our customers to use, how quickly I can pull lists and forms, and how customizable the platform is.

Cons

I would like there to be an app for our counselors to use.

I like that almost everything is customizable and can be altered to our needs for each session.

Cons

Some features are not as user-friendly. Also, when making a list of campers, the list always disappears and has to be selected each time a camper is clicked on. This can be time-consuming at times.

I like that it gathers all the camper information I need in one location. It is easy for parents to fill out, and I like the automatic reminders sent from CampDoc.

Cons

It could be more user-friendly. It is complicated making reports and groups, and it is challenging to get all the information to all my camp locations and the staff there. We do not have computers at our parks, so they all need to access it via camp cell phone. i am not sure CampDoc was designed for municipal programs. It probably works better for resident camps.

I love that parents create an online account and can take their time completing everything because we have a lot of medical questions for our camp.

Cons

I wish we were able to make more changes to the staff application. For instance, they should not have to go to the page that talks about tuition or receive notifications about camp insurance.

CampDoc allows me to manage records cleanly, efficiently, and securely. It enables our nursing staff to make sound medical decisions, administer accurately, and provides campus teams with the needed information to keep students safe throughout their stay.

We desire further customization options for medication confirmation forms but are otherwise satisfied with the software.

CampDoc is specifically built for summer camp and it shows. The registration portal, electronic health profile, and report export have been incredibly helpful in my summer camp management.

Though the financial ledger and registration system have their complexities, constituent complaints have been minimal.

The customer service is excellent, onboarding new users is a simple process with ease of use and training. The reporting functions are good and our customers are used to it.

It is easy to use once I set it up, and setting up is easy and stress-free as well.

Cons

The user experience is the only downside, since I only use it once a year, I have to re-learn everything each time. However, the help section is useful, and the support team is patient. I eagerly anticipate each summer despite these challenges.

I love the medical aspect, which is stronger than all other camp software I have seen. I like that campers can register and update their info year after year. Staff are always available for my needs, and they ask for feedback, implementing some of my suggestions over the years. CampDoc was a HUGE game changer for our program, increasing medical safety, camper enrollment, customer service (no more re-doing paper forms!), improved data tracking, and reduced admin work when it comes to chasing forms. I recommend it to all my camp friends who need a way to keep campers safe medically.

Cons

The software has a steep learning curve, is clunky and not intuitive and is missing a few important medical features (though its still better than all other camp software!). It is so expensive, especially for a very small camp like ours that serves only about 100 campers total.

CampDoc software is very user-friendly. It's easy to navigate and to complete tasks both from an administrative side and a user side.

Cons

Occasionally, the refresh rate may lag, leading users to think their browser froze. However, recent updates leave me hopeful for the upcoming camp season.

I found the medication and health forms to be excellent.

All setup had to be handled by CampDoc staff, and eventually, we had to leave because the pricing became unaffordable.

Pros

Our camping ministry has worked with the team at CampDoc for the past five years. While the setup process can be extensive, the team always listens to our needs and provides timely edits. The charges for accepting online payments are competitive, and the ability to generate reports is excellent. The jewel of this software is definitely the eMAR health system for tracking medications and allergies. Overall, this software has saved us a ton of time sifting through the right information for the right camps.

Cons

It can be a little tricky generating reports that look exactly the way I want them to, and getting the right information in that report.

“So Far, So Good!

Pros

As a non-profit, volunteer-run program, we needed software that could handle our non-profit camp process from start to finish, allowing us to pre-screen applicants before assigning them to specific camps. CampDoc was the only provider I could find with clients who had already developed this approach. The ability to edit various lists such as required immunizations and medications was also a plus for me.

Cons

Despite being in the early stages of our partnership (since Dec 22), we've noticed limitations in email cc and bcc functions, crucial in our selection process.
