“smooth notes and billing link”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how simple it is to connect the doctor's notes with the billing side of the software. Getting around the system is also very simple.
Cons
I only started using it this month so I haven't come across any issues yet.

“helpful support and simple workflow”
Pros
Right away, the practice management side of this software felt very simple to use. I also really appreciate being able to work through the practice management manual at my own pace to learn the system, while still having the option to connect one-on-one with someone from the ChiroFusion support team. Every time I've reached out to a team member, they've been incredibly helpful.
Cons
Up to this point, I really haven't run into any downsides with ChiroFusion. It has been a very positive experience overall.

“convenient web access and support”
Pros
Getting started with ChiroFusion was pretty simple especially on the doctor side. It's simple to learn and use although the front desk side, like billing and similar tasks, can take a little more effort. Since it's web-based, there's no need to keep data stored on a local computer and being able to log in from anywhere is a big plus. Support also gets back to you quickly when questions come up. I also appreciate the built-in credit card integration and the option to set up recurring charges for care plans if your practice uses that model.
Cons
There are still a number of limitations that make it frustrating at times. You can't always add or edit items the way you want, like creating an ortho exam if it isn't already included. On top of that, if you submit a feature request, it doesn't seem very likely that it will actually be implemented. The pricing can also get expensive with multiple doctors because even if a provider only works 1 or 2 days a week, you still have to pay full price to bill under that doctor. Another big downside is exporting patient data. From what I can tell, you can't export everyone's medical history all at once with one click if you decide to leave; instead, you have to open each patient record and export them individually which would be a huge job with 2,000+ patients. It's also really geared only toward chiropractors, with no built-in acupuncture format even though you can manually type your own and paste it into forms. There's also no built-in PI report format and no addendum format included.

“clean design, frustrating lag”
Pros
The overall look and layout of the program are appealing and well designed.
Cons
Using it is painfully slow. Even with 200MB service, it takes several seconds to respond to almost every keystroke and at times it stops working entirely. The steps for completing tasks quickly are confusing and the lack of autosave is ridiculous since forgetting to hit save can make all your work disappear. There's also very little flexibility to customize most of the drop-down menus. On top of that, the approved charges and signing notes process feels completely unnecessary and really needs to be organized.

“SMOOTH workflow and support”
Pros
Documenting, scheduling and billing are all simple in ChiroFusion. The system feels very user friendly, the support team has been excellent and the cost is lower than other comparable software I looked at. It's also much simpler to set up and start using than most alternatives.
Cons
One area that still needs work is the note-taking section. I'd really like more flexibility to edit the lists there since a lot of them are either missing important items or include too many irrelevant ones and right now there's no way to customize them. It works as is but there's plenty of room to optimize it for individual needs. Since writing notes takes up about 90% of our time outside of treating patients, any extra streamlining would make a noticeable difference in time saved overall. It would also help to have more free-form fields for entering unusual information manually. A few are available now but not in most places.

“user-friendly with helpful support”
Pros
Compared with other software I've used, this one feels much more user friendly. The setup process was simple and the customer service team has been very helpful whenever needed. It's also really convenient that the claims clearinghouse is built right into the software for submitting and tracking claims.
Cons
The downside is that the reporting options are fairly limited. It also doesn't keep track of inventory quantities for items like supplements and pillows.

“Practical workflow upgrade”
Pros
Switching to ChiroFusion felt much more practical for day-to-day use. After spending my first year in practice with ChiroTouch, I was tired of how cumbersome it was so this has been a much better experience.

There is an extra cost for text reminders.

“Functional tools and amazing training”
Pros
Everything works the way it should and the system is simple to use. The phone training was especially helpful and the agent who walked us through it was absolutely amazing.
Cons
A lot of the codes are missing from the system so I have to enter many of them manually. Also, when I called for minor help right after purchasing ChiroFusion, I was told there was nothing they could do because tech support wasn't included.

“billing and claims work well”
Pros
Using the billing tools and submitting electronic claims is very simple. The patient dashboard is well done and the initial exam is quite thorough while still being simple to work through.
Cons
The font feels too small and the patient note layout is too spread out. I'd rather have the SOAP note print on a single page and a new patient exam really should stay within 1 to 1.5 pages since all of that information can fit there. I also don't care for the extra explanations included for every ortho exam because they take up too much room and add unnecessary printed pages. Updating a CPT or diagnosis code after a mistake is more complicated than it should be. Having to jump back into the note to fix a charge and then return to billing is frustrating. The patient search on the main page will show the patient but you can't actually open them from that basic search. I have to do a blank search first just to get to advanced search and pull the patient up. A master patient list would be a helpful addition. I also have another provider in my clinic and the added fee for that was never made clear when I signed up. Saying you can add as many users as needed without mentioning extra provider charges feels misleading. It would also help to be able to click a patient directly from the schedule and open their note or information. An optional USB card scanner with automatic credit card integration would be a nice feature too.

“chiropractic-focused and detailed”
Pros
Being built specifically for chiropractors is a huge plus. It offers a lot of detail but charting notes still doesn't take much time once the initial exam is done.
Cons
Entering insurance information is the part I struggle with most. Even though I know it connects with Office Ally, the process feels frustrating compared with what I used before in Practice Fusion. It doesn't save information as you go so I've had to re-enter insurance details and even patient information more than once which ends up being very time-consuming.

“Versatile cloud emr features”
Pros
This EMR checks every box I was looking for. Communication has been quick and simple and the cloud-based setup is a big plus because it gives the software a lot of versatility.
Cons
One thing to keep in mind is that support and training are separate services. I'd recommend signing up for both so you can get properly familiar with the software.

“helpful reminders and forms”
Pros
The text reminders are really useful and having access to all those forms has been a big plus. I just wish they had actually been included the way it was presented at the beginning.
Cons
The extra cost only shows up when you're actually placing the order. It draws you in with a very low starting amount and makes it sound like everything is included but then the fine print appears when you go to order.

“helpful tutorials and clean layout”
Pros
The layout is simple and the system is simple to navigate. The online tutorials are especially useful when learning how to work with the reports and billing features in the software.
Cons
It would be better if basic plans included 24/7 support. It's also a bit inconvenient having to reach out to Office Ally directly to set up electronic transfers and some other features.

“User-friendly practice management”
Pros
Right from the start, ChiroFusion has felt high quality and very user-friendly. It covers all areas of practice management which has been a big plus. The self-teaching videos are helpful for learning the system and answering questions as they come up and the 3 hours of live training is a real advantage.
Cons
At this point, I haven't come across anything in the software that feels incomplete and I don't really expect to. I'm just looking forward to the upcoming live training sessions.

“color-coded workflow and helpful reminders”
Pros
Moving through the software from scheduling to documentation to billing feels very simple. I also appreciate being able to color-code everything and set it up in a way that fits my preferences. The email and text reminder system has been really helpful too.
Cons
One part of the software that can be a bit frustrating is having to switch between multiple tabs to finish notes. It's also pretty hard to go back into notes and add or correct something after a mistake has been made.

“Detailed notes and billing flow”
Pros
Moving from note-taking into billing feels very smooth and it makes writing detailed notes much easier than any software I've used over the past six years. There are a handful of outdated fields that still need to be updated but they only add a few extra seconds when finishing a note.
Cons
The initial training was close to useless. It mainly walks through the same manual and free videos they already provide and the most frustrating part was that they trained on a demo account instead of using my actual login to confirm everything was set up properly. That felt extremely unhelpful. Honestly it seemed like the kind of approach that leads people to call back and pay for extra support later if they don't have the full package. If you've worked with EHR/EMR software before, setting it up on your own is fairly simple without that training.

“helpful tutorials and quick setup”
Pros
Getting started with ChiroFusion was fairly simple and using it day to day feels simple. The drop-down combo boxes speed things up and make navigation much more convenient. There's also a lot of helpful support content, with detailed tutorials and FAQs available on the help site.
Cons
The billing section can be confusing especially when it comes to the insurance names. I also wish the system had an auto-save feature because it's frustrating to lose everything if you forget to click save before moving to another page. On top of that, the tutorial videos tend to be long and it can be difficult to locate the exact part you need.

“Clean interface, frustrating speed”
Pros
The interface looks really good and I like how the overall processing is set up. It's simple to navigate and use. At the start, the tech support was also excellent and very helpful.
Cons
The biggest problem is the speed.. it's unbelievably slow. Just opening the billing tab can take around two minutes and it's not my internet because it drags no matter where I am. I've lost hours just waiting for pages to load and sometimes after all that, it logs me out and I have to sign back in and begin again. The intake forms also don't fully integrate. On top of that, a lot of things aren't included in the price, like text reminders, intake forms, support and POS. Even paying for a monthly package, I still don't get support. I also noticed I could pay about $100 less per month elsewhere and get more features plus free tech support. I really don't want to switch because I genuinely like the interface but ChiroFusion feels expensive for how slow it is. I also wish there were a better way to track specific adjustments like membership discounts or family discounts.

“helpful support and solid value”
Pros
Customer service has been excellent and scheduling training sessions has been simple. The sessions themselves are very informative and overall it feels like a strong value for the money.
Cons
Initially, it took a little time to figure out all the customization options and how to create shortcuts efficiently. One improvement I'd love to see in the Chiro Analysis area of the Objective notes is an option where selecting "Subluxation" would automatically populate the related fields which would help make note-taking faster.
