“amazing product, awful support”
Pros
The software itself is excellent and very useful which is why I have stayed with this company for years. That said, ever since they acquired Future Health, the customer service has gone downhill in a big way. Every time I call, I end up waiting on hold for well over an hour. At this point, I really question whether the yearly support fees are worth paying.
Cons
Support has been really disappointing. The staff is polite when you do reach someone but most of the time it is extremely hard to get anyone on the phone. They keep saying they are working on improving things, yet it only seems to get worse. It also feels like they are pushing everyone toward computer chat which takes away from the personal customer service experience.

“support team is fantastic”
Pros
Any time we have questions, the support team is there to guide us through them, even when the issue is really complicated. Most of the time, there ends up being a quick solution.
Cons
I don't have any real complaints right now. If anything, I just wish there were more hours in the day so I could spend more time learning everything the software can do.

“constant extra charges”
Pros
It's fairly easy to use, I haven't run into any major issues yet and the iPad functionality is a nice touch.
Cons
The frustrating part is how much they charge on top of the already expensive base software. Almost every additional feature comes with another fee attached, whether it's cloud backup, getting support by phone software updates, electronic intake forms and more. At one point we had a backup error and instead of actually looking into the issue, they immediately suggested paying more each month for extra storage. After pushing them to investigate it properly, they eventually found an actual error and fixed it without us having to spend anything extra. For someone just starting out as a new chiropractor, all of these added costs feel pretty overwhelming.

“risky patient record edits”
Pros
The reporting tools are useful and getting around the software overall is easy too. Checking out a patient, posting payments and handling scheduling or rescheduling are all fairly convenient.
Cons
One frustrating issue is how easy it is to accidentally change a patient's name when opening their account. Instead of having a clear edit button, a single keystroke can remove something like their last name. I also wish it included a patient checkout time and showed who originally entered the patient into the system.

“excellent ehr and support”
Pros
Keeping up with our office workflow has been much simpler with ChiroTouch. It's honestly the best EHR system I have worked with. The support team has been outstanding and both the billing tools and patient notes features are excellent.
Cons
There really isn't anything to complain about with this software. Overall it has made our daily work much easier overall.

“user-friendly but limited billing reports”
Pros
The system is pretty user-friendly which makes day to day tasks easier to handle.
Cons
It's clearly built with chiropractors in mind but it's missing some billing reporting features that feel necessary.

“outdated training videos”
Pros
Getting around the system is very easy and it covers more than enough for what our practice needs. Whenever we need assistance, customer support is consistently helpful and ready to step in.
Cons
We're using the newest upgrade but the training videos still show the old interface which makes them confusing to follow. I assume they'll update them soon.

“helpful meaningful use training”
Pros
I recently took part in the 2013 Future Health Meaningful Use Boot Camp and the whole experience was outstanding. The way it was organized guided me through the Meaningful Use process one step at a time which made everything much clearer. They also stayed ahead of potential concerns and made room for live questions during the session so it felt very supportive throughout.
Cons
They offer a strong product along with excellent training that really helps me work through the software and the Meaningful Use requirements.

“costly support hold times”
Pros
One thing this product does well is stay current with regular updates and it can be tailored quite a bit to fit the specific needs of our two-provider practice. ChiroTouch also does a good job keeping us in the loop through emails and webinars whenever software changes or updates are released. On top of that support is available through both live phone assistance and online chat.
Cons
Well the biggest downside is the live phone support because it is not toll free and the hold time can sometimes run 30 to 45 minutes which can lead to noticeably higher phone charges.

“reporting issues and storage gaps”
Pros
Being able to use it on an iPad is a nice advantage. The software is user-friendly overall and having all patient information in one place is really convenient.
Cons
The reporting side can become pretty complicated. It would also be better if the calendar included confirmation calls and the storage limitations are a problem.

“months stuck on SmartCloud”
Pros
One upside is that this software lets me cut back on staff by handling work employees would otherwise need to do.
Cons
On the downside, I had to put up with SmartCloud for around nine months and that was a painful experience.

“user-friendly patient searches”
Pros
Getting our work done with this software is pretty easy and looking up patient information is just as simple. It's a very user-friendly app overall.
Cons
There are still some glitches that cause issues from time to time. I am hoping those get fixed soon so the software can provide even better service.

“confusing statements and billing errors”
Pros
One helpful part was that claims were posted automatically to the ChiroTouch ledger. It was also useful that the patient statements included CTProBill's phone number so patients had a contact listed if they had billing questions.
Cons
A big problem came up when CTProBill, its affiliated billing company, mailed out a statement even after our contract with them had already ended. That led patients to call them with questions, only to be told they were no longer handling our account which created a lot of confusion. On top of that when we signed on with CTProBill, they told us they would use the cost estimates we had saved in it but that never happened. Because of that, most of the statements they sent were inaccurate.

“limited product details online”
Pros
Compared with a lot of chiropractic software, this one does a good job of making the EHR side of things simpler for chiropractors. I do not use it anymore but from when I had experience with it, it was one of the user friendly platforms to work with.
Cons
Like most chiropractic software, it has its own issues that will not appeal to everyone. My biggest frustration is that the website does not provide enough detail about the product itself. Other than that it is still a reasonable platform.

“updates keep disrupting workflows”
Pros
Using ChiroTouch is not a hassle and I really like how much I can customize the system to fit the way I work. The customer service team has also been excellent and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
Cons
Honestly there isn't much I dislike about this tool but if I had to point out one issue, it would be the updates. Sometimes I get everything set up exactly how I want it and then after installing an update, it changes things around and throws off my setup which means I have to relearn parts of the system.

“worthwhile ehr payoff”
Pros
Getting set up took a while but it ended up being the right choice for my practice. It has helped everything run more efficiently and it also made it possible for us to qualify for the EHR incentive money without much trouble which more than covered the cost of the software.
Cons
There are a few limitations with the iPad apps since they still can't handle everything the desktop version does. On the plus side, the team listens to feedback and keeps rolling out updates regularly.
