allows faster charting

Pros

Charting is much quicker with ChiroTouch because it comes packed with features that speed up the whole process. The AI tool helps build charts in real time which is a huge plus during busy days. It also gives you plenty of options to work with preset tests, phrases and formatting styles.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is better access to my charts from anywhere, along with the ability to use all of its features directly from my smartphone.

provide great support

Pros

The system didn't take long at all when start using it and the customer service team has consistently been excellent. Scheduling works really well and leaves very little room for errors. Billing took a bit of time to fully understand at first but once I got comfortable with it, it became very manageable.

Cons

The separate clearinghouse enrollments were a bit frustrating especially since we had already gone through a very similar process with our original setup. It still gets the job done but the repetition was annoying. My biggest complaint is that because this software is built around chiropractic practices, it doesn't fully meet the charting needs for personal injury cases.

Reliable updates and standout support

Pros

I have been using ChiroTouch since 2013 and have worked with many team members on different issues over the years. Out of all of them, one support person was by far the most helpful. One evening, he stayed very late after we had already left the office just to finish our update and make sure everything was running properly. Because of that extra effort, we were able to start work the next morning without any downtime at all which made a huge difference for a busy practice like ours. Overall, it's a user-friendly program and whenever someone asks for my software recommendation, this is the one I suggest.

Cons

Reporting section isn't my favorite part. A few reports are really good but others still need some improvement.

Helpful onboarding at first

Pros

Getting started was helpful because the onboarding team walked me through the setup. That was pretty much the only area where I received useful assistance. After that, support mostly just searched CT Community and seemed unsure of how to actually handle issues.

Cons

Their billing has been inconsistent and I was overcharged for several months. Real support is basically absent and the support they do offer is entirely overseas. On top of that they hold your records hostage and will only complete a full data migration whenever they decide it's appropriate.

Flexible patient workflow win

Pros

Patient management and documentation are where this software really shines. Note-taking is efficient and it does a great job of supporting proper compliance which matters a lot. One of its strongest points is how customizable it is. That flexibility lets you shape it around your practice very closely, including patient communication through email and text messaging.

Cons

Cost is the biggest drawback in my view since it takes a pretty significant investment to get on board. There's also definitely a learning curve and that's hard to avoid. The same high level of customization that makes it powerful can also make it more challenging to learn and set up.

Complete practice management win

Pros

Switching to ChiroTouch made charting feel much more manageable compared with my previous EHR. The billing side takes a little time to learn but once you get comfortable with it, it works really well. The value for the cost is outstanding. It's a full system that really helps with running my practice day to day. Whenever there's a snag with claims, charting or anything else, the support team has been helpful, friendly and quick to respond. Scheduling is also very easy and manageable for everyone involved. The AI feature is a nice addition when I need to finish charting fast.

Cons

The billing area can seem a bit confusing to navigate, even though it gets much easier once we're back in our routine. The AI feature also has room for improvement. I was used to how my macros were arranged and I'd really like the option to dictate and have it formatted in that same style.

Customizable and clinic-friendly

Pros

The flexibility of the system has been a huge plus. I am able to add hot buttons for charges, diagnoses, exam tests and notes throughout every part of the SOAP note which makes charting fit the way my clinic works. Uploading documents is fast and I also have it linked to a credit card processing system that is fully integrated with ChiroTouch so payments run quickly and reliably. Scheduling, appointment reminders and the overall organization of everything are set up really well. Another thing I appreciate is that CT actually pays attention to customer feedback. They have a feature request portal and a number of ideas I submitted were actually reviewed and implemented. That has helped make the software work extremely well for my clinic.

Cons

At the beginning there were a few areas that took more time than they should have but that was more than five years ago. Since then, they've made improvements and fixed all of those issues.

Built for chiropractors

Pros

ChiroTouch is like it was designed by people who actually understand how chiropractors work. The system is very user-friendly, scheduling is simple to manage and I can get through patient charting quickly without slowing down my day.

Cons

The biggest downside for me has always been the pricing. There have also been times when I wished I could get a more direct solution for customizing my clinic forms or parts of the scheduling platform.

Appointment scheduling with receipts

Pros

Booking appointments is easy and the built-in payment processing makes transactions quick to handle. The new itemized receipts have also made a huge difference and have really been a game changer for us.

Cons

I find the texting feature annoying because it uses a different number than our actual office line. I'd also like more flexibility with bulk texting especially the option to reach a broader group of patients, including those who haven't been treated yet instead of only the ones seen that day.

Rheo AI scribe gives peace of mind

Pros

The add-ons have been really useful and the new Rheo-AI Scribe feature has made a big difference. Staying on top of my notes is much easier now and it gives me peace of mind knowing it helps capture everything.

Cons

The biggest downside has been the lag in the software. That's been an ongoing issue with it since the start for me. It has improved a lot over the past five years but it still causes problems now and then.

user friendly chiropractic EHR

Pros

Compared with a couple of other EHR systems I have used this one is clearly built with chiropractic practices in mind. The layout is very user friendly and I was able to understand how to use almost every part of the software even before my initial training. ChiroTouch also keeps improving the platform with regular updates, adding features and changes that users in the community have been asking for.

Cons

Every now and then during the workday I am unable to get into the software because of server issues. I also can't use the G8942 or G8539 codes for Humana and I am not sure whether that limitation is coming from the clearinghouse, this tool or Humana itself.

Pros

Being able to pull up our schedule no matter where we are has been a huge plus for us. I even booked an appointment for someone while I was out at a museum this past weekend which was incredibly convenient.

Pros

After moving over from the server-based version of ChiroTouch, this one has felt a lot more efficient and has organized my practice quite a bit. I am spending less time dealing with office tasks and bookkeeping which means I can focus more on my patients.

The area that falls short compared with the server-based version is the statements. They aren't as good and there's no option to customize them or select a different style.

An interactive EMR with standout AI

Pros

ChiroTouch is interactive, user friendly and highly customizable in day to day use. The newer AI integrations really put it ahead of other similar programs. Over the past decade, it's been one of the few EMR tools that has actually kept up with changing technology, along with updates in documentation requirements and insurance billing.

Cons

One thing to watch is the internet connection when saving work since charts can sometimes look different after closing and reopening them.

Pros

Having everything connected in one system makes it much simpler to handle every part of practice management. I really appreciate how well Trizetto works for billing and how Engage fits in for patient communication.

Too many clicks during checkout

Pros

ChiroTouch in the cloud has been the biggest advantage for us. It may sound like a small thing but being able to access the system from anywhere has completely changed how our office operates. We're a Michigan practice and one of our employees spends the winter in Florida. She can still handle all of her CT responsibilities remotely. With FaceTime added in, she can even stay involved with patients, communicate with them and help with virtual checkout. That has been a huge win for us. We also have another team member who often needs to work from home due to health concerns. CT makes it possible for her to stay productive and keep up with her tasks from home. That flexibility has been incredibly helpful. Billing also becomes very manageable once the onboarding process is behind you. There's definitely a learning curve at first but after everything is set up, the workflow is much smoother.

Cons

Only frustrating part with CT is how many clicks it takes. Simple tasks often need more steps than they should. It has improved over the years but the system still feels especially overloaded with clicks when dealing with checkout and scheduling.

An all-in-one tool

Pros

Having everything built into one integrated system makes running the practice much more manageable. It covers insurance verification, claim submission, patient communication and a lot more in one place. This EHR really helps keep daily operations on track. On top of that customer support has been excellent as they respond quickly and usually resolve issues very fast. The AI note-taking feature has also been a huge improvement and really changes the workflow for the better. I'd definitely recommend it.

Cons

I noticed that system updates sometimes happen on Sundays which prevents my patients from booking online during that time. The online scheduling experience could also use some improvement because patients often complain about having to log in with their email and password every time. Even aside from that some people still struggle with the booking process. Another drawback is with appointment reminders. They work very well and make patient communication convenient but I wish the text messages came from my office number instead of a separate one.

Pros

ChiroTouch gives me an organized EMR that helps me focus on patient care and moving through chart notes is very easy. The added AI has made charting even faster and does an amazing job capturing all the important details from each patient visit.

A complete workflow boost

Pros

Having the SOAP notes, exam templates, outcome assessments and care plans already built in was a big advantage. After the templates and macros were properly set up, charting became much faster. It was also really helpful to have scheduling, documentation, billing and claims all in one platform since that cut down on constantly switching between different systems.

Cons

Getting everything up and running at the beginning took quite a bit of time. The template and macro customization is powerful but it can also be pretty time-intensive and often needs dedicated setup time or extra support.

I loved the old version

Pros

We used their server-based version before and were really happy with it. Complaints were very limited. Once we moved to the cloud-based version, though, it just didn't leave the same impression. We didn't completely hate it but it pushed us to start looking at other options and at this point we definitely don't regret making the switch.

Cons

From the beginning there were a lot of issues while using it. The only slack I can really give is that it was still a newer product but even then, many of those problems should have been resolved before launch. They also had a forum for submitting requests, yet it never really felt like any of that feedback was being taken seriously or acted on.

Fast support with a seamless workflow

Pros

Switching our office from paper charts to this has gone really well. The features are simple to use and support is available quickly whenever we need help. We've especially been happy with the billing tools since taking payments and emailing receipts are both very accessible. Scheduling has also been incredibly easy for our team.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the office chat feature. It doesn't give any kind of alert or pop-up notification when a message comes through. When chats are sent inside the program, I'd really like to see a small alert or red banner appear, similar to what happens when someone books online, just so I know right away that I have received an internal office chat.

Pros

One of the best parts of using ChiroTouch has been their outstanding customer support which is available 24/7 whenever help is needed. The built-in AI for compliance is also a huge benefit especially when handling notes and insurance billing. A costly billing mess

Pros

Honestly there isn't really anything positive I can say about this software. At first glance, it looked like it might be simple enough but once you actually start watching and going through the video training, that impression disappears quickly.

Cons

Customer support is basically nonexistent unless they decide to call you first. The system is not easy to use and billing and payment posting are inconsistent. This means you end up searching insurance websites yourself just to find payments. Secondary claims show as billed but there's no actual follow-through. Since switching to this system, we've had to write off more than before. Because of that, it has no real value for what you pay as it actually costs more money in the long run. There is also no dedicated person for phone support. When messages are left, calls are never returned. Moving to this system was the worst mistake we made.

Quick help from support

Pros

After dealing with issues for several days I ended up calling because chat wasn't available to me. I expected a long hold and set aside plenty of time but that turned out not to be necessary at all. My call was answered right away and she got started on fixing the problem immediately.

Cons

The frustrating part was not being able to use chat in the first place. It looks like my password needed to be updated so I asked for a reset link to be sent to my email. I tried several times but the email never came which kept me from accessing my CT Services. We're still trying to sort that out and at this point I am waiting for a future email.

support with an efficient workflow

Pros

Whenever we run into a problem, the customer service team is usually very helpful and gets us back on track quickly. Scheduling appointments and managing the calendar is very easy which makes daily workflow much simpler. Check in and check out are fast and being able to move patients around while clearly seeing where they are in the process is something I really appreciate. Payment processing is quick and efficient and the relationship feature reduces a lot of extra clicking when taking payments for an entire family. The reporting tools are also very useful and give valuable information especially for tracking stats.

Cons

To me the ledger is too complicated because editing charges takes too many steps and allocating payments can sometimes be frustrating. Since moving to the cloud version some fixes have been made but updating charges or payor details can still be a bit of a time drain. Real Time Eligibility is another weak spot since it does not always pull the correct information.

Pros

Having everything in one platform is one of the best parts of ChiroTouch. It brings together scheduling soAP notes, billing, insurance claims, patient management and reporting in a single system which keeps the office more organized and cuts down on the need to juggle multiple software tools.

Pros

Between scheduling and the built-in payment tools ChiroTouch really covers everything we need. Being able to select different parts of the software helps me manage the budget in a way that makes sense for the practice. The live support is available throughout the day and if something urgent comes up, I can call for immediate help. The patient management features for recalls, campaigns and service reviews have also made a big difference in strengthening our online presence. Thanks again.

Cons

A downside is having to customize some of the preloaded settings. A few of those items are quick to adjust but others take quite a bit more time to refine and figure out the best way to use within the program. It's also frustrating that the patient's chief complaints from the previous visit are not saved especially when they come in with multiple complaints.

Pros

After nearly six years of using it in our office I am genuinely happy with it. It fits really well in a busy practice and the customer support has been outstanding the whole time. A billing nightmare with poor support

Pros

Using ChiroTouch for about 12 I'd say it's functional enough, although it is outdated compared with other options. We ran into issues on and off the whole time and eventually we stopped trying to get meaningful help and just worked around the system as best we could.

Cons

The biggest problems have been customer service and CTProBill. At this point, we're actively looking at other software, largely because signing up with CTProBill turned out to be a major mistake. I assumed that since they seemed connected to the same company, they would know the system and handle things properly. That was absolutely not the case. From day one, they were violating the contract and failed to deliver even a fraction of what they had agreed to do saying 10% would honestly be generous. Because they were clearly in default, we canceled the contract early and they accepted that because they knew they were not meeting their obligations. Even after that, they kept billing us, still have not stopped and have ignored our emails completely. I would strongly warn anyone against using CTProBill under any circumstances. Everything described here has been fully documented. And if you're considering EHR software in general, I would also be cautious about it. The company has changed hands multiple times and it really seems like they've lost the ability to properly support their customers which this whole experience made even more clear.

Pros

The AI documentation tools have been a total game changer and the customer support has been outstanding. They keep improving the features they already have while also rolling out useful new ones.

Cons

At first the higher price gave me some hesitation since it cost more than my previous software. A few months after I signed up, though, they introduced the AI documentation feature and it cut my charting time in half. That has let me see more patients and has more than justified the extra cost.

After using the server version for years and really enjoying it, moving to the cloud version has been an even better experience. The software keeps getting regular updates, I can log in from anywhere as long as I have a web browser and it's very user-friendly.

Cons

Honestly there's very little to complain about with the software itself and even the support team has been fantastic. If I had to point to one downside, it would be the price but it does feel like you get what you pay for.

A flexible clinic workflow

Pros

From scheduling and chart notes to billing and posting, the program is also easy to use throughout the whole workflow. Plus it is highly customizable which makes it easy to tailor to the specific needs of my clinic.

Cons

A few features aren't as simple to customize and some updates have been less useful than earlier versions. That said, most of the time there's at least the option to keep using the older version.

Powerful scheduling with macros

Pros

Between the note macros and the easy scheduling, the system is very easy to use every day. It also includes useful features like alerts and subscription plans. On top of that you can add integrated extras such as two way texting for appointment reminders and online forms.

Cons

The server version worked really well but the cloud version has been a mess and support has been terrible. A lot of help seems to come only through Facebook groups. The online forms were not always reliable either. For PI work, it cannot separate cases properly in the ledger so we had to create new patient files for every case and then keep track of which file belonged to which case. The itemized billing statement is confusing too and attorneys often call us because they cannot make sense of it.

A clean layout with flexible workflow

Pros

Working in the system is very comfortable because the page layout is gentle on the eyes. There are several different ways and places to complete the same task which makes the workflow feel flexible. The font and color theme are also pleasant and easy to work with.

Cons

One frustration is the lag in insurance deductible updates, although I am not sure how much can really be done about that. Another issue is how a patient can be marked as inactive, yet you still can't delete the record when it's clearly just a duplicate.

I love the cloud flexibility

Pros

After using both the server based and cloud versions of ChiroTouch, the cloud option is definitely the one I prefer. It gives me the freedom to work from home and even while traveling which has been a huge advantage. The platform is simple to navigate and CT Forms along with InTouch help me stay in touch with patients quickly and efficiently.

Cons

The part I have liked the least is the billing tool. I ran into quite a few issues with it and eventually I decided to stop using that service.

An all-in-one workflow powerhouse

Pros

Everything from scheduling and patient management to doctor notes is handled really well in ChiroTouch and it's very user-friendly. The ready-made templates are a big help too especially for keeping documentation moving quickly within one all-in-one system.

Cons

Its monthly cost for each service is a bit on the expensive side. I'd also like to see better integration between the intake forms and SOAP notes since the server-based version seemed to connect those features much more effectively.

Powerful features overall

Pros

There's a lot packed into this software and that functionality has been really valuable in day to day use. Being able to log in from home is a huge help and makes it much more convenient to stay on top of things. Customer support has also been excellent whenever I have needed assistance.

Cons

Getting comfortable with the system takes time because the learning curve is fairly steep. It definitely requires more effort to learn than the server-based program did.

An adaptable workflow powerhouse

Pros

After years of using ChiroTouch I must say it still stands out as an amazing tool because it can be adjusted quickly to match the way your practice works. I run with a very small team so I need everything such as scheduling, custom form creation and payment collection to flow without extra effort and it does that really well. On top of that their support team is outstanding whenever I need help getting any of it set up or handled.

Cons

One area that really needs improvement is diagnosis code search. It should be much easier to look up codes on the spot instead of digging through prebuilt lists. A lot of EMRs fall short here but there's really no good reason that in 2026 a provider still has to search ICD 10 for...just to update a diagnosis.

Faster notes with flexible scheduling

Pros

Their scheduling setup is really well organized and being able to create different appointment types is a big plus. The AI feature for SOAP notes also helps a lot since it makes charting much faster and less time-consuming.

Cons

I noticed that it still doesn't integrate with GoHighLevel. I am also not a fan of being limited to just one credit card processor and I'd really like to see Fortis added as an integration option.

Integrated workflow with smart charting

Pros

Everything in ChiroTouch works together in one integrated system which keeps the workflow running efficiently. The AI feature also cuts down the time doctors spend on new patient paperwork by turning the information into paragraph form for them.

Cons

At the beginning training was a challenge for us but that improved once they assigned a representative who checked in weekly and answered the questions we had.

An unprofessional look and lag

Pros

Running a high-volume practice, the SOAP notes were very efficient and still included all the key information needed for each patient visit.

Cons

The interface looked a bit childish which was only really a concern if a patient happened to see it. Overall it didn't feel very professional and it was also occasionally slow.

Customizable and user-friendly

Pros

It's pretty easy to use and simple to train new staff on. The system is also highly customizable and I appreciate that they actually take user feedback into account when considering new features and ideas.

Cons

I noticed that fixing issues can take a while. It sometimes takes a couple of days to get a callback and I'd rather be able to call in and have small problems handled much more quickly.

Responsive support with custom macros

Pros

Managing patients and taking notes is very easy especially with the custom macros. Support has been excellent, with quick response times and the online forms are a really helpful addition.

Cons

CT Rev is a bit disappointing at the lower end. That said they keep improving the product and keep adding updates that make it more practical and reliable for users.

Fantastic support and features

Pros

ChiroTouch has been a pleasure to use. Huge shoutout to support team for fixing my billing issue within minutes as they were incredibly friendly, detailed and helpful. I am really loving this tool!

Cons

There really aren't any major problems for us. The only challenge is that I still don't know everything the program is capable of so there's a bit of a learning curve and it takes some time and practice to fully use it.
