“customization success”
Pros
The file customizations and overall job performance have been excellent. It handles the work really well and delivers strong results.
Cons
The interface feels a bit old-school and could use some modernization. Also, running multiple jobs at the same time was slowing the software down.

“automated order transfer”
Pros
Our team uses it to send orders directly to our vendor and that whole process runs automatically. Once everything is configured, it pretty much takes care of itself and we don't have to keep an eye on it.
Cons
It's a very large-scale program so understanding all of the features built into it can be difficult without going through proper training first.

“secure platform”
Pros
Everything about this software feels very stable. It's simple to manage and the security level is really strong.
Cons
We use it as a support documentation system and it has been very good for that. The support team is excellent, I've worked with them many times and they always respond quickly and handle things very professionally.

“long-term reliability”
Pros
For nearly 10 years, we've relied on it for our IT integrations and they've been outstanding across the board. Their sales team is knowledgeable, helpful and follows through on exactly what they promise and their technical support has consistently been top-notch. It's a very strong organization from top to bottom.
Cons
Honestly, from my perspective, there really isn't anything I dislike about it.

“Easy workflow setup”
Pros
Getting started with it is easy and setting things up especially the jobs and processes, is really user-friendly.
Cons
One thing that's missing is Excel export which feels like a pretty basic requirement these days. Debugging errors in EDIit is also difficult and it usually requires help from the IT team.

“data conversion powerhouse”
Pros
It handles a wide range of input formats really well, from APIs and standard EDI to XML files and does a great job converting those documents over.
Cons
After the Epicor acquisition, I was expecting the UCC 128 labels that had already been created to be carried over into Epicor. I also would have liked the ability to work with a document directly in the portal, rather than having it only be integrated.

“error search made easy”
Pros
Searching for data files is very easy, the error reports make sense without much effort and it's nice to have several different options available when corrections need to be made.

“custom standards support”
Pros
Standards here really work more like a guideline which turned out to be very helpful. No matter what a customer or client asked for in their specifications, you could build the transactions needed without much trouble.
Cons
The part that gave me a hard time was figuring out multi-level IF statements.

“simple mapping tools”
Pros
It was easy to use even with only basic IT knowledge. The interface feels simple but it still offers plenty of power and flexibility. As long as the right data is available, you can work around almost any issue and map things the way you need.
Cons
Handling any-to-any translations with a double map feels a little awkward. That said, it does accomplish the goal of mapping one format to another, it just requires an extra step.

“i like the integration visibility”
Pros
Connecting with our partners was very easy and the visibility the system provides has been something I really appreciate. The integration with Microsoft Navision 2018 was much more challenging but that was tied to the ERP itself rather than the platform.
Cons
A few FTP features were missing out of the box so we had to ask for them to be added. Also, the error messages could be much better and more helpful.

“EDI mapping success”
Pros
Its mapping tools let us work with multiple business partners using whatever EDI version they prefer, without needing any special custom setup. The workflow scheduler is also very useful because it lets us route IT transactions into our own in-house automation processes as part of the overall transaction flow.
Cons
One annoyance comes up when using the Transaction Filters, the native transaction data (EDI Data / App Data) is shown in a variable-width font like Arial which makes it harder to read when troubleshooting an issue. Any raw text data should really be displayed in a fixed-width font such as Courier New or Consolas. Variable-width fonts make sense for paragraph text but not for raw data at all.

“mapping leader!!”
Pros
Compared with other products out there, this one really stands above the rest. The mapping tool is the best I've worked with so far, fast, dependable and incredibly powerful when it comes to building complex mappings with lots of options.
Cons
The one feature I'd really love to see is the ability to export to Excel directly from the Filter screen. That would save a lot of time when sharing issues with customers and internal teams.

“mapping and archiving”
Pros
It doesn't take long at all to learn this tool and the interface feels very user friendly. One of the biggest advantages is being able to see map changes instantly which makes it much easier to adjust things on the fly and immediately understand the impact. EDIit also has an excellent archiving feature that allows a large amount of data to be moved into an archive database, helping the main operating database avoid lag. Searching for documents is also very convenient even when you only have a small piece of information to use as your search criteria.
Cons
Every now and then, after selecting a quick access filter, the screen drops back into the background. It's not a major problem but it can be a little confusing when you suddenly have to figure out where the window went.

“Has everything for DME suppliers”
Pros
Cortex EDI does a great job with DME supply billing. It has all the features DME suppliers like us need to easily submit claims and get payments. And the best part is how simple and easy it is to use.

Pros

“reliable automation”
Pros
Once our setup was configured, it pretty much ran on its own. The automation is strong enough that we rarely need to touch it anymore which has been a big plus.

“format flexibility”
Pros
Using it has been very easy and the functionality is great. It supports a wide range of inbound and outbound formats which makes it really versatile.
Cons
Reporting side could definitely be improved. During mapping, it would also help a lot if users could loop through the data and test different scenarios within a single map while using different operators.

“worth using..”
Pros
It doesn't take long at all to learn it. It's very user-friendly and troubleshooting problems usually happens without having to spend a lot of time digging into the root cause. The learning curve is short overall and multiple functional teams are able to use it to review potential issues and make corrections.
Cons
The only real downside is that it's a bit expensive but the value it delivers likely balances out the cost based on the benefits mentioned above. Beyond that, our user community really hasn't had any meaningful complaints about the tool.
