“feature-rich mapping”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is the flexibility and functionality. Being able to build my own file definitions, processes and triggers is a big plus and the mapper offers a wide range of operators to work with.
Cons
A limitation I've run into is that it doesn't support mapping from just any file structure to another. I do have a workaround in place but it would be much better if something like XML could be mapped directly to X12 data.

“EDI flexibility hub”
Pros
Having everything in one place for my custom programming needs has been a big advantage especially since I don't have to rely on my ERP for it. The system automatically creates T-sets for new customers so a lot of the setup is already handled. Updating sender and receiver IDs is simple and it's also convenient to create carbon copies for DSV customers when I don't want those to run through the ERP and just need the 850 forwarded to the warehouse for picking, packing and shipping. Navigation is easy because the wording throughout the system is clear and logical. I manage more than 30 customers with different requirements and up to this point it has been able to handle every one of them.
Cons
The only part that has been a little difficult is learning how to use Map Designer although I think that with the right training it probably wouldn't be much of a problem.

“integration dashboards”
Pros
Even with our very old ERP system, we were able to connect this tool without any trouble. The customizable reporting dashboards also make it much easier to keep track of errors and stay on top of issues.
Cons
One thing I was never a fan of was how the older maps had to be programmed although the newer version has made that process a lot simpler.

“transaction handling win”
Pros
Being able to build maps and manage or view transactions is a real plus. Mapping is easy and loading test transactions is also simple to work with.
Cons
I'm still getting familiar with the software but from what I've seen, it looks like something we can adopt especially compared with our experience using other IT software.

“easy mapping”
Pros
Getting started with this software was surprisingly simple even though I was completely new to the IT side of things. I picked up map editing pretty quickly and there's a wide range of tools available to customize everything the way you need it. The layout and features feel very easy so most of the time I could figure things out on my own and only had to contact this tool for a couple of questions. Overall, I've been really happy with the software and would definitely recommend it to others.
Cons
Honestly, I can't point to much that I dislike about this software. I never ran into an issue that I wasn't able to work through.

“great value platform”
Pros
The product offers strong value for the money. Its pricing makes it possible for small to mid-sized businesses to support their organization without stretching the budget too far.
Cons
The mapping can be a little tricky in the beginning. With time, you pick up shortcuts and better ways to handle mapping and improve performance but it's still less simple than I expected.

“data visibility tools”
Pros
Setting up custom reports is really useful and having complete visibility into the data flow makes it much easier to track everything. The mapping tool is also user-friendly so working with it feels easy.
Cons
A couple of things could be improved, there's no way to copy data from filters and there isn't an option to change the background color for different data sources.

“flexible scripting engine”
Pros
Using this software has been a really good experience overall. At first, it can feel a bit tough compared with other systems but once you become familiar with the tools, it performs very well. And when the built-in tooling does not fully cover what you need, the custom scripting options do a nice job of filling those gaps. 1EDISource was also very helpful in responding to my support requests when I was getting started and working through our implementation.
Cons
One thing I would still like to see is better support for custom reports. I do not really like being limited to only the reports that are currently available.

“cloud setup support”
Pros
Choosing the cloud-based version of EDI/it has been a big plus because I don't have to spend time thinking about maintenance or upgrades. That lets me put my attention on getting our trading partners onboarded and that process is pretty easy. The support team has also been excellent, knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely friendly whenever I've needed them.
Cons
The biggest downside is the lack of proper documentation or user/reference guides. If I can't track down what I need in TWiki, I have to reach out to support. They do respond quickly but sometimes I'd rather be able to look up the answer on my own. TWiki itself also feels awkward and tough to navigate.

“easy and simple to use”
Pros
Everything about it feels easy to understand. The interface is simple yet effective, setup and debugging are hassle-free and the platform is very user-friendly overall. On top of that, the support team is attentive and helpful whenever needed.
Cons
One thing that could make it even better is having a more detailed manual or developer guide. That would help others explore the available options on their own and make the experience even simpler and more effective.

“API mapping success”
Pros
Perfect tool for my team. Getting our TMS connected to a third-party API landed on my plate when our IT person didn't have time to take it on so as the SQL guy, I ended up owning it. Once we confirmed that EDI/it could support RESTful APIs, we moved ahead. The 1EDI professional services team guided me through every part of the process which made a huge difference. On top of that, the interface felt simple enough that I was able to start updating the mappings myself without much delay. The project has now gone live successfully and honestly, I ended up looking like the hero for pulling it off with an in-house tool. Even our IT team is happy with it for the actual transmission side which definitely matters.
Cons
The platform is very capable but because I don't have an IT background, it felt overwhelming at the start.

“query and mapping power”
Pros
Right away, the software feels very simple so querying and finding data doesn't take much effort. The mapping tool is easily the best I've used, with plenty of flexibility for highly customized mapping. The scheduler is also a big plus since it can run automatically without supervision and sends alerts whenever it needs attention.
Cons
The reporting tool is there but building custom reports on your own isn't really practical without extra help. A lot of the time, I just want to export a line view into Excel so having that available would be a really useful addition.

“dashboard simplicity”
Pros
Getting new partners, t-sets, jobs and transaction filters up and running is easy. I also really appreciate how customizable the dashboard is since it can be arranged to show everything I need right when I sign in. For basic maps, the mapping process is simple and user-friendly.
Cons
When it comes to more advanced validation or configuring output data, the mapping process can be a bit tricky at times.

“first-class support”
Pros
Whenever I run into an issue, the support team is outstanding. They're consistently available when I need help troubleshooting even with a heavily customized ERP setup that includes embedded custom software. That level of support really stands out.
Cons
One frustrating part is having to rework data from non-IT standards into IT-standard formats just to keep things moving. The import-export process can feel tough although there is at least a workaround.

“knowledgeable team”
Pros
To learn the interface doesn't take much training at all which makes it pretty simple to understand. The consultants clearly know the software well and seem very confident in what they're doing.
Cons
Outbound processing feels a bit awkward at times. I'm also not sure how to map something without having it sent and there isn't enough visibility into the standards.

“cross-platform control”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how portable it is across the different platforms we use. It gives us a Windows-style interface for mapping and managing our IT environment which makes administration much more familiar and convenient.
Cons
A few of the features we need seem a bit limited right now. That may also come down to us still learning the platform and not fully knowing everything it can do yet.

“training and automation”
Pros
Coming into it as a beginner, I was really impressed by 1EDI's post-sales training team. They know the product well and guided me through the setup and configuration step by step so I was up and running in a short amount of time. EDI/it feels like a complete IT solution and I've been able to handle all of our tasks without issues. I also really value how many tasks can be automated with it.
Cons
The software isn't the most simple I've worked with but the excellent training from 1EDI more than made up for that.

“automation reporting boost”
Pros
From handling the full IT process to tracking every document coming in and going out, this software does a fantastic job automating the workflow. The reporting is excellent and makes it simple to monitor activity as well as catch any errors. The GUI is also very user-friendly and pretty much anything you need or want to view can be added to the interface without much trouble.
Cons
One thing I wish it included is built-in software for creating custom reports since you currently need a Crystal Reports license for ad hoc reporting. We already have that license so it hasn't caused any issues on our side but it could mean extra cost for other companies.

“easy mapping setup”
Pros
Getting started with the product felt very simple and navigating through it was easy from the beginning. Setting everything up was convenient and building maps for each of our partners was no trouble at all. Even when a few partners had specific requirements, creating custom maps for them was still simple and manageable.
Cons
A handful of features are tucked away and can be difficult to locate at first. After spending some time with the product and getting familiar with where everything is, it becomes much more efficient to use.

“great value features”
Pros
Using this has been easy and the pricing makes it even more appealing. Adding new clients into our system is flexible and for what it costs, I haven't seen another option that packs in as many features.
Cons
The software itself performs well but 1EDI's support isn't as strong as what I've seen from some other providers. I'd really prefer a better self-service setup and possibly online support as well.
