Pros
low cost
Cons
Poor Customer Service & Refusal to Refund – Avoid This EDI Provider I strongly advise against using Cortex EDI. Despite paying $95 for a service that was never provided, they refused to issue a refund. Their customer service was unresponsive, dismissive, and outright rude. Multiple attempts to resolve this minor billing issue—including requests to speak directly with a representative—were denied. A company that ignores customers and refuses accountability is not one you can trust, especially if you're looking to scale your business with reliable support. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for an EDI provider that values its customers.

“smooth onboarding”
Pros
Getting started was easy thanks to the supportive onboarding team and the dashboard is simple to navigate and use.
Cons
The cost is still a factor although I wouldn't say this software alone is the reason since pricing tends to be an issue across the IT space overall.

“years of excellent support!”
Pros
One thing that has really stood out is the support. Throughout all the years we've used it, we haven't run into any issues at all and the support has consistently been excellent.
Cons
I do wish I had a better understanding of how to get more out of the technology. It's clearly capable of doing a lot more but my knowledge only goes so far right now.

“consistent solution”
Pros
One thing that has really helped is how dependable it's been, along with the fact that the interface has stayed pretty consistent over the years. That makes moving from one version to the next a lot simpler. AS2 Complete has been very reliable for us overall and since we started using it, we really haven't run into many problems. The programs feel great and trustworthy.
Cons
A few problems have come up with AS2 Complete when connecting email through Azure Exchange. We've also noticed some UI issues in the mapping section. That said, we aren't running the latest version yet so it's possible those things have already been addressed. Most of the issues we've seen are related to highlighting that won't clear properly.

“works but slow support”
Pros
Once everything is set up correctly, it does seem to do the job as expected.
Cons
Getting any changes made takes an incredibly long time. Trying to get help from their team feels like pulling teeth. You submit a ticket and usually get a very brief response back.

“poor support response”
Pros
One bright spot has been the support representative. He's friendly, professional and clearly knows what he's doing. He follows through, takes care of the issue and is patient when explaining things. The way he communicates also makes a difference because it feels like a real conversation instead of being talked down to.
Cons
On the other hand, our account manager has been unhelpful and unresponsive. I reached out for business-critical information and got no reply until I finally emailed again to point out that she had never answered. Instead of actually responding, she just opened a support ticket for me which was something I could have done on my own. Support ticket turnaround is also too slow for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues. The portal isn't user friendly yet we're being pushed to use it anyway. In a service-based environment in the US, there should be more emphasis on real human interaction but that does not seem to be a priority here.

“Process visibility win”
Pros
Using ManagedExchange managed services has worked really well for us. The interface provides all the detail needed to manage processes properly and the support team along with their mapping services are honestly hard to beat. It's been a really strong service overall.
Cons
One downside is that the ManagedExchange web interface feels a little awkward and can be pretty slow at times compared with most modern web apps. That can get frustrating now and then although you do get used to navigating it.
