automation flexibility

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how flexible it is when it comes to customization and automation. Building processes, jobs and triggers is easy and you do not need to be a programming expert to make it work effectively.

Cons

Biggest downside is the initial learning curve which felt steeper than with other IT applications I have used. The dashboard layout and overall design can also feel overwhelming and confusing for new users.

dashboard automation hub

Pros

The strongest parts of this software is the dashboard. You can build and organize the views that matter most for your day-to-day work, whether you are an admin, operator or viewer. The jobs and automation features are also very useful because they let you send customized alerts and reports straight to your inbox. Everything is visible and you can drill down into the details which makes it much easier for admins and operators to explain things to regular users. The client version is another big help since regular users can look up the information they need on their own which saves us time from having to run reports for them. Jobs and automation is definitely one of the standout features. You can track what has already run and see when the next job is scheduled. It also lets you place a job into one or all three tabs and set triggers so it works like a scheduler. The smart filters are very flexible, with multiple sorting options that let you filter by T-set, TP and even specific Transkey values. Having multiple tabs within the smart filters is especially helpful because it allows smart edits and transaction resubmissions without needing to go back into the ERP and reprocess everything from scratch. There are plenty of other useful features too, like the TP view, where you can check what is set up by TP which T-sets are implemented and more. Overall, the design, accessibility and level of control are all very great.

Cons

One area that feels outdated is the ad hoc reporting tied to Crystal Reports. It seems to be getting phased out and I would really like to see that improved so there is more flexibility in reporting. Right now, the standard reports are the only ones you can run against your filters. Another limitation is that the filters cannot be exported or extracted. It would be very helpful if there were an option to download or extract the filters even if it were only the header information, into an Excel or CSV file. At the very least, having the ability to highlight and copy the data so it can be pasted into a spreadsheet would make a big difference.

better data control

Pros

Being able to take control of my IT files has made a big difference especially with the flexibility to put the right controls in place based on each customer's specific needs. We're sending cleaner, better data now and as a result our fines have gone down. It has also helped us set up DSV customers without letting purchase orders clog up our ERP since we can simply carbon copy those purchase orders to our 3PL.

Cons

Nothing to mention here.

integration powerhouse

Pros

One of the biggest benefits has been the automated trading partner and t-set setup which cuts down a lot of manual data entry. The mapping tool is easy to work with and gives instant feedback while building which makes the setup process much more efficient. It's also convenient to get to alerts and errors quickly. On top of that, it connects well with other ERP systems through ODBC integrations.

Cons

The area that still feels limited is reporting beyond "EDI Reader." We do use Crystal Reports but it feels a bit awkward and only older versions seem to work with EDI/it. It would be much better if there were a built-in report designer along with scheduling capabilities.

event visibility tools

Pros

Getting visibility into events is easy to set up, monitor and filter. The platform also comes with a very powerful set of operators and we're just starting to use them in more advanced ways.

Cons

Only thing I would have liked is for the mappers to be more aligned in how they work. The inbound and outbound mapping tools clearly feel like they were built from different starting points.

modern SaaS platform

Pros

After years of working with a legacy on-site IT system, we wanted to move to a more modern SaaS provider. I went with 1it and I've been really pleased with the product's performance, support and overall feature set.

Cons

Since it's a SaaS solution, any network connectivity problem can affect our ability to keep logistics operations running properly. It doesn't happen often but we still need to consider an on-site failover option for those situations.

workflow control center

Pros

Having complete control over every part of the IT process is a major advantage. Being able to build and run our own custom processes without much trouble has been a huge win for us.

Cons

The only downside that comes to mind is that a few smaller process-related items could be a bit more simple but they are definitely not deal breakers.

simple with support

Pros

Even someone with very little IT coordination experience can pick this up quickly because it feels simple right away. The team really knows the IT products inside and out and they consistently respond promptly and efficiently or offer well-informed recommendations when there's an issue to solve. Everyone is friendly, helpful and makes you feel like you're the most important customer they've worked with all year. The software itself is excellent and the staff is just as impressive.

Cons

Color handling could be better. When the cursor lands on a line, the navy blue highlight covers the background and makes the content harder to read.

clear X12 tracking

Pros

Being able to view the original X12 data alongside the mapped data after translation is a huge plus. It also makes it very quick to spot errors or mappings that are failing because of business rules. The history is simple to access and review which has made day-to-day work much easier. On top of that, the interface is easy to understand.

Cons

The software itself has never really been the problem for me, I genuinely like it. The weaker part is the SAAS setup. It feels more like logging in remotely through a VPN than using a true SAAS product. I also can't copy and paste between the 1EDI tools and my desktop and Outlook stops working whenever I'm connected through the VPN. That is honestly the biggest issue I have with 1EDI.

Better than other platforms

Pros

It stands out to us for its ease of learning, especially when compared to other alternatives. Plus the available tech support improves the overall user experience, which eventually makes it a straightforward and accessible solution.

Cons

I have noticed that some of our users are still having some issues with the documentation processes.

Provides the best assistance when in need

Pros

One thing I really like is the excellent customer service. They are very helpful, and the instructions, they give are clear and easy to follow. Plus the design of the program is also great as it's user-friendly.

Cons

Currently, there is nothing that comes to my mind which I dislike.
