“senior lab assist”
Pros
can receive more than one specimen at a time
Cons
each test has it's own bar code instead of having one bar code for chemistry/hematology/coags etc. The system UNRECEIVES and or UNCOLLECTS specimens that have already been collected and received

“Complicated and not user friendly”
Pros
It allows me to open multiple patient charts simultaneously which is helpful.
Cons
The cost is too high, and the monthly prices are confusing. Customer service is terrible. It took me over a month to get comfortable using it for documentation, and it frequently needs to reconnect to the server.

“Everything about CPSI EMR is poor”
Pros
So far, nothing works smoothly with anything else.
Cons
I feel like there are too many repeated inputs and it doesn't communicate well with other products. The interface is also confusing and finicky.

I mainly use it for payroll and accounts, and it's easy to navigate.

“Nothing special but gets the job done”
Pros
We can see the patient information including demographics and medical history on the screen. The system faxes information directly from the system.

I cannot edit the available templates, which is a bit frustrating

“Terrible experience”
Pros
There are no pros. It does not support doctors.
Cons
It's cumbersome, time-consuming and the search function only matches spelling. Because of this I can't find anything if I don't already know what name CPSI uses.

“Reasonable choice but outdated”
Pros
It is one of better options available and has basic user functionality.
Cons
There are small bugs that have not been fixed in months. The layout is outdated and a lot of the function seem useless and arbitrary to me.

“Stay as far as you can”
Pros
Customer service is pretty good considering the fact we had to call them every time there was a bug.
Cons
Not only it is an unreliable software but also it is hard to access the patient history. You have to click multiple times to get something done and the design is not intuitive at all.

“Better options are available.... IGNORE CPSI EMR”
Pros
There are no positive features.
Cons
It looks and works just like Excel. You need to click multiple times to access any feature. I have used other systems and they were much better than CPSI.

“Acceptable product”
Pros
I would say it is an acceptable product. It has the particular features that we require for our practice such as patient portals and procedural workflow templates.
Cons
The biggest drawback as per me is that it does not easily integrate with third-party products and that affects its functionality.

“Has a lot of room for improvements”
Pros
It is reasonable and once youre used to it, it is generally simple to use.
Cons
The screens are a bit clunky to use, with too many options on one screen. It just isn’t as simple for me as I expected.

“We like it!!”
Pros
CPSI is easy to use and it is listed among one of the best software available in the market.
Cons
It seems like some options were placed anywhere just because they did not have enough space to adjust them into the right place. It also has some bugs which are still not fixed which creates a problem for us at times.

“Worst system”
Pros
I am an ICU contact nurse and I would surely have to quit my job if I have to use this worst system. Does Not help me in any way.
Cons
It doesnt make sense at all. I need to scroll through the screen a lot to get the required document. Its like you work on an excel spreadsheet and then throw the files away to sort them later. I dont recommend this at all.

“CPSI is good”
Pros
By going into one screen, I'm able to audit charts that are super amazing. If you know where the data can be found it becomes easy. Additionally, it is anything but difficult to keep a running record.
Cons
Creating a new form feels a bit tricky to me as it requires a lot of steps and going back and forth between charts.

“For your patients safety avoid it at any cost”
Pros
It's an electronic system but the worst EMR I've ever come across.
Cons
Compared to other EMRs, CPSI EMR system is really bad. Almost everything seems to work the wrong manner and there is no clear overview of things. Most of my colleagues have just gone back to using paper files.
