Pros
The ease of use is remarkable. Curve offers a detailed solution that eliminates the need for multiple third party vendors such as Solution Reach, Eperscribe, Dexis and IT support.
Cons
The names "Curve Hero" and "Curve Grow" seem rather silly to me.

Curve makes electronic charting very simple and the scheduling screen is easy to utilize.
Cons
The compatibility with other practice management software add ons is severely limited. Opening up the platform to other companies for interfaces would greatly enhance office efficiencies.

Pros
Without a doubt Curve Dental is the best dental software out there. The developers constantly update and improve the program, taking user suggestions to meet our needs. I have made several suggestions that have been implemented. With over 25 years in the dental field, I can confidently say it is the best.
Cons
I wish there were pre built stock reports available along with a dedicated app for scheduling emergencies on the go.

Pros
I am really looking forward to see more potential of Curve. I believe it will be amazing after a couple more years of development. The patient portal and online payment features initially sparked our enthusiasm.
Cons
I have mentioned it before but we haven't been able to start using the portal and payments because we are still struggling with billing. We are having a difficult time understanding the billing module and it has been a long learning process. While we are not frustrated enough to quit Curve, we do wish we had a better understanding of things.

Pros
The convenience of being able to use Curve anywhere is fantastic. I also like its user friendliness because not all of my staff members are not very tech friendly but they were able to pick it up. Curves customer service is also reliable whenever we encounter a problem although that hasn't happened very often.
Cons
The price has considerably increased over the past two years.

The software itself is excellent. However the billing practices and management leave something to be desired...

I like Curve Dental and the representatives I have interacted with during implementation and tech support have always been helpful and friendly. However a major drawback which I noticed is when Curve decided to increase the amount they charge me mid contract with approximately 3 weeks notice. According to the terms of my auto renewing yearly contract I am obligated to give Curve a lengthy non renewal notice in advance of the anniversary date if I choose to switch. It is very disappointing that Curve considers it ethical and acceptable to change my price in the middle of a contract period without sufficient notice to allow for a change as significant as switching practice management software. As the owner of my office, I understand the challenges of inflation very well, and I would have been fine with the price increase if it had been done with reasonable notice and at the anniversary date. However, changing the price in the middle of a contract with minimal warning is a tactic employed by companies that I consider unprofessional and one that should be avoided. Despite this setback, I continue to use Curve, and I may not even find it worthwhile to switch when my next yearly contract is up. However, I can no longer recommend or trust them..

With relatively few clicks Curve is easy to navigate. Charting is also easy to use and even my new employees quickly adapt to the program.

Pros
Curve is very user friendly. Their support team is helpful and they value customer suggestions.
Cons
I would like a separate notes function for specific aspects of a patients chart such as billing or appointment notes that are not related to clinical care. It would be helpful to have them stored separately from the clinical notes.

Pros
Major reason to switch was that I needed cloud based software with ease of syncing. Its ability to automatically manage patients access really saves the trouble of manually granting permissions. Overall, I like it.
