“Better solution among all
Pros
Learning how to use this software was fairly easy for me. The setup and all the options were really simple too. Plus, the support team was super quick to help and there were plenty of video tutorials and online guides available that made everything even easier.
Cons
It's a bit annoying that I can't email a patient their insurance response directly from the software.

“Perfect solution for dental practice
Pros
Curve Dental really helps streamline dental operations. It takes away all the scheduling headaches, saving both time and money. So yes I definitely recommend using this software if you want to save time and cut down on costs.
Cons
Curve Dental operates on the cloud which means there is a chance of disconnection and uncertain operations. So I feel like it would be beneficial to have an on premise option as well.

“Exceptional customer service
Pros
What really stood out to me about this software was how easily it provides cloud-based visibility and supports multiple locations. Also it is very easy to use and customize with just a few clicks. On top of that the customer service has been amazing as they always respond quickly and highly helpful.
Cons
So far I haven't bump into anything that I do not like.

“Slow customer service
Pros
The cost was reasonable which was a major factor for me to go with Curve. The setup process was also simple and it was effortless for the staff to learn how to use it.
Cons
Contacting the billing department is nearly impossible. When I called I was directed to leave a voicemail and it took 24 hours for them to respond (but miraculously they did after I mentioned my experience on social media). Updating credit card information online results in automatic charges in US dollars. Apparently Canadians are expected to find some fine print that states "Canadians must call to update expired credit card numbers" I missed this detail and ended up paying in US dollars for months, only realizing the increased fee of $200/month due to the exchange rate. It is hard to believe that a software developer can't come up with a better solution such as providing different icons for customers of different countries to update their credit card information. The process of reaching the billing department is frustratingly time consuming. Curve would benefit from more folder functionality, especially for long term patients who accumulate numerous letters for scanned items like insurance responses, estimates, and medical history. After a few years it becomes challenging to locate specific letters among hundreds. Additionally when the internet or Curve experiences downtime, it becomes problematic as there is no access to patient notes or medical history.

“Be careful!!!!
Pros
Curve Dental software lets me access the cloud and manage multiple locations so easily. Also it allows me to customize things just the way I wanted. The customer service also deserve a praise as they assist well whenever required.
Cons
The cost was very high and they charged for every additional feature on top of the monthly fee. Adding a new doctor to the practice or having an extra user acquired extra costs. While this software seemed technologically advanced with its cloud capabilities and modern customization options, I noticed it lacked development in terms of management and report usage. Billing was confusing, and providing accurate quotes and collecting payments proved nearly impossible.

“Great software, couldn't be happier.
Pros
Using this software is so easy. It is very intuitive and everything flows smoothly mainly when I am working on letters and notes.
Cons
The perio charting feature is confusing, inaccurate and does not meet industry standards. As a periodontist, I find it embarrassing to use this feature and share it with general dentists. Despite requesting changes, modifications and corrections to align it with industry standards, no improvements have been made.

“It's not perfect, but it's getting better!!!
Pros
The interface of this software is quite modern and sleek. Honestly it is so much better than those old server-based programs and way more stable. And not having to deal with a server has been such a relief for me. Also the treatment planning feature is top-notch and most of the tools work great for clinicians. Though it is not perfect, but the regular updates definitely make up for it.
Cons
Curve Dental software needs improvement in terms of details. It lacks detailed dental practice management functionality. The available pie and bar graphs are essentially useless as they don't provide meaningful insights or link to relevant information. Also the entire interface is a bit confusing. Integrating information similar to what Dental Intel provides would be a game changer for Curve. Other aspects of the program still feel like a work in progress. It would be beneficial to have better support for Fee for Service offices. Moreover, it would be great if the full site access were available on iPads instead of the limited mobile version, or even better, if there was an iPad app.

“Very user-friendly
Pros
Curve is not at all complex as everyone on the time able to use without any training. Moreover the front desk can handle appointment scheduling and checkouts quite quickly and all the integrations work so smoothly without any hassle.
Cons
X ray automation process is very troublesome. The indication for the head of the household in relation to billing is a bit confusing too. Also, notes that aren't written on the same day show up as if they were, which is a bit off. Frequent updates with Curve Capture often disrupt our X ray workflow when we need it the most.

“Simply the best
Pros
We have been using Curve for many years. Its easy to use, and the customer service is exceptional. They have made updates and introduced new features such as reminders, which we really like having in one comprehensive product. Additionally we can now customize and add notes to treatment plans which is fantastic!
Cons
Since they updated the treatment planning and allowed us to add notes to it I can't think of any cons.

“I don't like it!
Pros
The one thing I like about Curve is how fast it retrieves data and generates reports.
Cons
The patient profile doesn't include the patients employer, which is something that is really important here in the country I am. So I believe the addition of it would be helpful.

“Keeps our operations seamless
Pros
Curve is a great company to work with, as not only is their software easy to use, but they are always rolling out upgrades to keep things fresh. The tech support is superb too.
Cons
It would be great if the cost could be a bit lower, but one thing I admit is that the improved efficiency definitely makes the investment worth it.

“Quite complex!!!
Pros
Sending forms to patients is very simple with Curve. I also find Gro really helpful and easy to use for sending text messages to patients.
Cons
There are multiple missing features that could enhance the software. Over the past two years I have provided numerous suggestions but none of them have been implemented yet. It doesn't seem logical to have a debit and credit on the same account simultaneously. I struggled initially when trying to learn Curve but eventually grasped it. However, the recent changes in billing have made it challenging to read. It would be helpful if these changes were optional.

“Easy to customize
Pros
I like being able to customize shortcut buttons for charting. Also it's quite easy for me now to view claims and add items to patient files and letters in their charts.
Cons
It would be better to have more features for sending review texts and emails, allowing us to choose specific recipients such as new patients only rather than sending to everyone.

“No regrets about switching to Curve
Pros
The charting, patient communication, and reporting features are outstanding. I am also thrilled that I can access patient charts, x rays and reports from my phone anywhere, anytime.
Cons
Transition from billing and accounts receivable was a bit difficult for me. It took some time to get the hang of insurance billing, which caused delays in insurance reimbursements. I did definitely recommend being financially prepared before making the switch.

“Don't know whether the pros outweigh the cons
Pros
I think the schedule looks really great and is easy for me to use when scheduling patients. Treatment planning and charting are also quite simple.
Cons
Our front desk staff is having some trouble with the practice management software, especially when it comes to insurance processing and generating reports. I also wish the patient photos could be larger and that we could capture and store cone beams directly within Curve. However, the imaging software in Curve doesn't quite measure up to Dexis, especially when it comes to capturing bitewings.

“I love it!!!
Pros
We are thrilled with Curves versatility as it caters to most of our dental practice needs. From messaging patients and accepting online payments to scheduling, claims and insurance verification, Curve covers it all. Moreover, they make it effortless to connect with a real person whenever assistance is required.
Cons
We suggested a few features to Curve and they've been really responsive in adding them. One of the things we asked for was the ability to create forms in languages other than English, especially Spanish, since we have Spanish-speaking patients. Another thing we think Curve should include is the ability to generate CMS-1500 forms for medical insurance, as we're currently using external software for that.

“Great addition to our office
Pros
Curve is very user friendly and is easy to use. The frequent system updates make it even easier and the customer service is exceptional. I truly feel they listen to their customers. However it did take a little time to adjust to Curve since we were transitioning from paper charts and had no prior experience with electronic charting.
Cons
I feel like the billing module and statements could really use an update. For now they are hard for patients to read and understand.
