“Customer service is Poor. And expensive.
Pros
This is a very large, expensive program that employees find hard to learn, leading some to quit. Its not intuitive and requires extensive training for new employees.
Cons
Customer service is terrible. They always send you offshore to techs who aren't trained, requiring multiple calls to find a competent tech. I called three times to upgrade Dentrix software, and each time was told the installer had gone home. On the fourth call at 2:30 PM, I was told the installer works Monday-Thursday 5AM - 2 PM and Fridays 5AM to 1 PM. This is frustrating as I specifically took time off to install the update. This level of service from a company claiming to be the best is unacceptable, and I'm starting to regret working with Dentrix.

“Powerful dental practice management software
Pros
Scheduling patients is very easy to manage. The ledger is clear and easy to follow. The X-ray feature is fantastic, and the software is very powerful.
Cons
The software has a lot of unnecessary features that can slow down its use, so there's not much to dislike about it.

“Good Single Office Starter Dental PM Software
Pros
After training and acclimation, it was easy for me and my staff to use. It had all the features needed to run a dental practice.
Cons
Finding various reports was difficult and required some digging. There's no way to remotely view the software without taking control of the entire computer, preventing someone in the office from using it. Additionally, patient texting is not two-way in real-time and isn't integrated into the software, requiring a separate website login not linked with Dentrix.
