“Ease of Use”
Pros
This software allows you to create an online office quickly!
Cons
I've used the software for a few years. Earlier, it was hard to know where the problem was with frozen or dropped calls. In the last year, that has improved significantly. This company is great at asking the community for input and making changes, so I'm loyal because of this.

“Doxy.me: easy to use and secure”
Pros
Doxy.me is affordable and HIPAA compliant. During the pandemic, the ABA company I work for used this software to provide telehealth services to parents of children with autism. It could be used on computers, tablets, and phones. Both providers and parents found it simple to use and access.
Cons
I noticed the video would often freeze or disconnect, even when the Internet seemed strong on both sides. No other issues!

“Easy to learn and use.”
Pros
I learned it in a few hours and taught the rest of our team. Not sure what we would have done without it during the pandemic.
Cons
The software works well for us, and I can't think of anything I'd change.

“Excellent for ease of use”
Pros
This software is great for the non-techie (any client I have who is not, and me too!). Easy to use AND easy to explain to my clients a huge plus! The fact that Doxy.me is HIPAA compliant is essential for my use. I am extremely happy with Doxy.me and would highly recommend it to anyone in the mental health field (and for other appropriate uses as well). Great work, Capterra.
Cons
No problems whatsoever, easy transition for the clients in my practice.

“Functional Interface for Both Doctors and Patients”
Pros
I have been using Doxy.me since March 2020 due to COVID-19. I am a child and adolescent psychologist and work with children, adolescents, and their parents. I have been successful using Doxy.me to continue meeting patient goals throughout the pandemic and beyond. I have resumed seeing patients in person, but the platform is still useful for parents who have challenges obtaining childcare for their appointments. The interface is very intuitive for both doctors and patients. Picture quality is mostly clear, depending on the internet connection on either side. Patients can easily log in on any device, including cell phones, to meet with the doctor. It is HIPAA-compliant!
Cons
I have one patient I like to share my screen with, but the free version doesn't offer screen sharing. I purchased the professional version and have enjoyed using screen share. My patient is 10 years old and figured out how to share her screen so we could work together on her goals. The video quality sometimes suffers due to connectivity issues on either side.

“Easy to use program”
Pros
I retired over two years ago as the Executive Director of a non-profit counseling practice with more than 20 employees. During my tenure, we decided to start seeing clients online. Doxy.me was recommended to us by a for-profit agency that found it simple to use and affordable. Before I retired, I saw the benefits of the program and how easily counselors could learn to use it. Since retiring, I've started a very small private practice. Before the pandemic, I was comfortable seeing clients in a typical counseling setting. When the quarantine hit, I knew I needed a way to continue seeing clients. I relied on Doxy.me again and have not been disappointed. Because my practice is small, I use the free version, and both my clients and I find it straightforward to use. I highly recommend it for practitioners looking for an affordable, confidential program. I have no complaints.
Cons
I've only used the video feature, so I haven't tried the calendar, billing, or record-keeping functions. If they're anything like the video, I'd have full confidence in them.
