Sometimes there were technical issues on my end or theirs, and the session had to be restarted, occasionally multiple times.

Pros

Mental health clients are stressed and anxious, and creating a user or various logins is just overwhelming. It was easy for me, the clinician, to log in and begin the HIPAA-compliant session. The articles are also easy to follow; I didn't know how to work the waiting room, but the directions were straightforward. Thank you, Doxy.me.

I didn't know how to end a session, but I'll look it up in the community forum.

It would be nice to include other family members in the call, but that feature isn't available in the free version. I do no know how to help when video or audio is not working either.

The software is so easy to use; even my 90-year-old patients can use it. I love seeing the shocked look on their faces when they realize they can see and be seen. It is like a whole new world opens up for them.

I have the free option, so the cost is perfect. I don't use it often enough to justify paying for the premium software. What I miss compared to the Zoom app is the ability to share the screen and show patients their labs and radiology studies.
