Reliable, HIPPA-compliant product

Pros

Easy for both users and administrators. It's reliable, and resyncing with poor connections is straightforward. I appreciate being able to see the user's internet quality and browser for troubleshooting.

Cons

Sometimes there's lag or poor sound connection, but resynchronization usually solves it.

Easy to use, and free/cheap

Pros

It's super simple. My patients were able to grasp it without any trouble.

Cons

None at the moment. I don't engage much in telemedicine, so this is an easy and great way to see a few patients a month.

essential during covid

Pros

During COVID, it was absolutely essential for keeping my practice running. It's very simple to use and honestly I couldn't have continued operating without it. A big reason I've been able to maintain a full practice is because of Doxy.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. The usability is excellent and the visual clarity is especially good.

simple access for patients

Pros

One thing I really appreciated is that patients can join without having to create an account first.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints since I only used the trial version. A few features I assumed were missing turned out to be part of the paid plan.

Quick setup, big healthcare impact

Pros

Getting started with the software was simple and it immediately made a meaningful difference in the care I was able to deliver during the pandemic.

Cons

The free version did have a few connectivity problems at first. After upgrading to the professional plan, those issues were resolved.

connected us with patients during covid

Pros

So easy to set it up and using it day to day felt just as simple. It gave our practice a way to stay connected with patients who were scared to leave home during the COVID-19 crisis, while still allowing us to provide care without the added worry of exposure to the virus.

Cons

At this point, I'm not aware of any downsides with this software.

simple scheduling

Pros

I found it user-friendly and once my patients figure out how to access the waiting room which is very simple, they just show up right on time for their appointments.

Cons

There really isn't anything hard to use here. If I leave the program open for too long, I occasionally need to close it and log back in but that only takes a moment.

positive experience so far

Pros

I started with the free trial to test out Doxy.me and see whether it would be a good fit and it has worked well for my clients. I've run into very few issues and the ones that did come up were usually when clients were joining by phone or seemed to have a weak internet connection on their side. Overall it has been a positive experience. It's simple to access and the connection quality has been solid. I also prefer not to have sessions recorded or stored and I don't need the full practice management package so this setup suits me well.

Cons

Response time from customer service has not been very fast although I'm only using the free trial so I don't really see that as a fair criticism. I would expect support to be more responsive and helpful if I were using a paid plan.
