Pros
Being able to use this at no cost has been incredibly helpful and really allowed me to complete my internship during the pandemic.

Pros
Using the free version once a week has worked out really well for me. It offers a lot of value for occasional use and if I were seeing clients full time, I'd seriously think about paying for the extra features.
Cons
One issue I run into quite often is that the video looks blurry on my end, even though my clients say they can see me just fine. My internet is fast so it doesn't seem to be a connection problem.

Clients can get onto the platform without any issues which has been a big plus. The non-profit discount is also really helpful and I appreciate that multiple people can join the same session when needed. Privacy and security feel solid and the screen sharing feature works well too.
Cons
Honestly I have not run into any issues. I have explored a lot of video platforms and this one has been the best fit for the population I work with.

Pros
Right from the start, it has checked every box for me. Being HIPAA compliant matters a lot in my work and it's also simple for both my clients and me to use without any hassle. The pricing is very reasonable and at the moment I'm still using the free version. Most of the time the connection is solid and I really appreciate being able to see who's waiting in the waiting room even while I'm in session with another client.
Cons

Pros
Setting it up took very little effort and it played a big part in helping my practice begin offering telemedicine. One thing I really appreciate is the badge feature which can be added to a private website so telemedicine tools connect nicely with other electronic communication methods. Doxy.me also provides useful ideas and images that make it easier to promote telemedicine services to patients.
Cons
From a pediatrician's perspective, I'd love to see better support for child-specific workflows, such as having a separate field for the patient's name instead of only showing "your name." There are times when parents enter their own name rather than the child's which can create some confusion. That said it's usually a minor issue and can be cleared up quickly just by asking.

“Fantastic waiting room feature”
Pros
Its quite easy to operate. Since it runs in a web browser, there's nothing complicated to install and the fact that patients don't need to sign up makes the whole process much more convenient for them. It also works well across different devices, whether someone is joining from a smartphone or a laptop. The waiting room feature is useful and the platform feels built with medical use in mind.
Cons
Screen sharing has been unreliable for me and doesn't always function properly. The platform can also crash at times and once more than two participants join, it tends to get buggy. I've also run into audio cutting out which forces the user to reload the browser to get things working again.

Technology usually isn't my strong suit and when clients aren't very tech-savvy either, appointments can become frustrating fast. Since I started using Doxy.me, things have become much simpler for me. All I have to do is copy the invitation, paste it and send it to my client. They just click the link and that's it, no installing, no downloading, no extra steps. It manages to feel very basic and very sophisticated at the same time which is exactly why I absolutely love it.
Cons
I've only been using the most basic features and they've been working perfectly fine for what I need.
