“Not Justified by the Price
Pros
The system is HIPAA compliant and when its not crashing notation works well. I appreciate the convenience of scheduling from the phone app.
Cons
I've found that customer and tech support offer very little help. They usually just go through basic troubleshooting steps and then leave me stuck when the issues don't get resolved.

“Poor performance & service
Pros
Initially I liked DrChrono but over the past two years its become a nightmare. Its too unreliable and expensive for its poor quality.
Cons
It crashes a lot, so I can't use the notation platform for long. It's really annoying to lose detailed chart notes because of these errors.

“reported problems unresolved & senior support inaccessible
Pros
Only thing that is okay is that the schedule looks as it is easy to read and follow.
Cons
We never seem to get any real fix for the problems we keep reporting. For a month now we have been dealing with the Day Sheet showing duplicate totals and there still is not any resolution in sight. Plus it is even more frustrating that we cannot reach anyone more senior to sort it out. It feels like we are standing in front of the Wizard of Oz curtain and the person who could help is completely out of reach.

“Customizable and Scalable EHR
Pros
The customization options are great, making it easy to set up the way I need. Since it is cloud-based I can access it from anywhere, which is really convenient. Features like online scheduling and the HIPAA-compliant patient portal work smoothly and help keep things organized.
Cons
The cost is quite high and the software offers so many options within a single suite, which can feel overwhelming.

“Revolutionary and fast ios mobile charting
Pros
DrChrono felt revolutionary when it first arrived because it included an iOS mobile app that lets me chart and send prescriptions right from my iPad or iPhone. That feature saves me a huge amount of time and is the main reason I have not switched away from the product. even after many years and with other EHRs releasing iOS apps, I still find it to be the most reliable and efficient option on mobile. And though a lot of the built-in practice management features come across as outdated but when I pair DrChrono with other scheduling and patient-engagement tools, the iOS charting and medication workflows remain best in class and incredibly fast. Overall I genuinely like how amazing those mobile features are compared to almost every other option I have tried.
Cons
My main complaint is that it has done very little to modernize the overall product. Since Updox took over I have noticed only minor tweaks to a handful of features that won't benefit everyone. For the most part the platform still feels largely unchanged. Their telemedicine option has been a waste of time for me as there are far simpler alternatives on the market still it charges extra for those visits which might have been acceptable ten years ago but feels outmoded now. Plus I faced backend issues frequently, including slowness and short outages on a weekly basis. The OnPatient portal also looks outdated and dull and the built-in scheduling system is old and tedious, producing a lackluster experience for patients. It seems like OnPatient gets zero attention from the company, with no UI or feature updates since launch. Because of all that, I avoid the practice management and patient-engagement pieces and use this tool only as an EHR.

“Inconsistent performance with DrChrono
Pros
Using it with an iPad was definitely a highlight, as it made things more accessible and easier to work with. However, the software hasn't really evolved much since its initial release. While it has a lot of potential, it ultimately falls short of what it could be.
Cons
My meetings with the Apollo+ team were unproductive and the software features did not meet my expectations, which ultimately led to patient losses.

“Pleasant interface at a reasonable price
Pros
The interface of it is quite pleasant and the price feels very reasonable considering everything I get in return.
Cons
One issue I have noticed over time is that its voice to text feature does not transcribe accurately or work reliably for me in many cases.
