“Pull up data from any location

Pros

When we operated multiple clinics, I really appreciated being able to pull up data from any location. Overall it was fantastic to have every patient's records consolidated in one central place.

Cons

When I used the system, only a single team member could update a given client's record at once if more than one person edited it concurrently, their edits would overwrite each other's information.

Pros

I have found it provides a centralized platform where my billing staff and clinical teams can work together simplely.

Cons

That said I find editing or removing existing accounts awkward and restricted and the permission controls are inconsistent which sometimes creates access issues for my team.

“Incredibly user friendly with clear api

Pros

When I was at a startup developing medical devices, our team needed to add various EHR systems into our product. My task was to get DrChrono hooked up among the EHRs we supported. Against experiences with Allscripts and Athena Health, this tool stood out as incredibly user friendly. Also its API documentation was clear and I managed to complete the integration in just a single days work.

Cons

I noticed that relative to other EHR providers DrChrono keeps less detailed records for patients, clinicians and clinics or facilities.
