Cons

The interface pales aesthetically compared to its competitors, which makes it less intuitive and steepens the learning curve. Other solutions on the market offer a greater quantity and quality of features.

Pros

The software itself is easy to use, navigate, and chart/add data. The dental charting is easy to read and follow, making it simple to treatment plan and review the differences between existing restorations and pending treatment. I like that you can change the column colors for dentists versus hygienists.

Cons

I don't use this software frequently, but I've noticed numerous errors while working with it. The customer service is passable (surprising, given its ownership), and navigating their website feels overly simplistic and challenging.

I've used Easy Dental for over 19 years. It was easy, but now it's barely working.

Cons

Easy Dental 12's release has been disappointing; it's riddled with glitches and non-functional features. When I contacted software support, they acknowledged the issues and mentioned it could take weeks or even months to resolve. Despite this, they continue to charge monthly support fees without offering the option to revert to the previous, fully functional version, Easy Dental 11.

It's fairly intuitive to navigate. Basic office management functions are present and usable.

The software lacks seamless integration with Gendex sensors or intraoral cameras for imaging. Office management functions lack specificity in generating reports, and there are limited options to customize the user interface.

An All-in-One software for all dental clinics
Pros

I use this software at work to schedule patients, review charts, write charts, and review radiographs. It's really convenient to have it all in one place. You can organize patients by different colors depending on which dentist you designate for them. The icon symbols make it very easy to navigate.

Cons

I find this software excellent, though I wish it provided more detailed information when I hover over a patient's name on the schedule, such as relevant medical history and recent bitewings.

It's really easy to use, the charting is updated with modern terminology, and the features and functionality are great. You can color-code the schedule for different rooms or providers.
