“Well-organized, efficient system
Pros
Overall, I think the system is well organized and easy to navigate which makes completing tasks feel natural and efficient.
Cons
There are moments when I find it hard to figure out exactly where to go for particular tasks and that uncertainty can sometimes slow me down.

“Easy navigation, customizable workflow
Pros
It's simple to move around the system and I can easily request customizations to fit my workflow. Support was always there during setup and having quick access to side-effect info, training and documentation in one place has been invaluable. I also love being able to assign a single provider to multiple individuals which aligns managing care.
Cons
From my point of view, the industry as a whole still needs to do a better job of standardizing how behavioral information is communicated and there should be a clear, simple way to train hospital staff and nurses on how to care for non-verbal individuals, if that were in place it would help preserve continuity of care and prevent frustration for both the nursing staff and the person receiving care.

“Smooth rollout with helpful onboarding
Pros
Using the software was smooth during rollout and I really like that team stayed helpful and patient with everyone new to the system.
Cons
Although the training videos are helpful, I personally find the printable guides far more useful for our team so I ended up putting together a procedure manual that allows staff to follow the software step by step as they learn

“Quick resident addition process
Pros
When I add new residents to our facility, the software makes the whole process easy and I can easily correct details if something was entered wrong, printing from the application is simple as well and the various tabs respond quickly so I can enter different pieces of information without delay.
Cons
I don't have anything further to add to this section right now, since everything seems covered and I can't think of any issues or suggestions worth mentioning.

“Customization improves staff usability
Pros
As an administrator, I really appreciate how much customization I can apply throughout the system and I've noticed that it makes daily tasks much easier for care staff, particularly those who aren't very tech-savvybecause the interface is easy and forgiving even for people who don't use technology often.
Cons
I do find that some elements aren't labeled in a way that makes sense to me, so unless I'm already familiar with where things are hidden I can waste time hunting for features.

Pros
At first, the implementation felt overwhelming because it dumped too much information on me at once but I'm warming up to the system the more I use it.
Cons
The implementation along with the training videos overloaded me by presenting too much at once, I would recommend breaking the training into separate, manageable segments.

I've found it's extremely easy for new team members to get up to speed, even for those who've never entered chart data electronically.
Cons
At my facility which focuses on mental health care, the system lacks several specific features we require however, I've been impressed that this tool listens to feedback and has collaborated with us to build some of the missing functionality.

Pros
What I appreciate most is how simple it feels, especially since I'm not clinically trained, it's easy to navigate and the owners support along with the instructional videos really simplify getting the hang of the program.
Cons

“Centralized med tracking, care plans
Pros
I've been working with this software for just over a year and in that time I've found the platform to be a real help in bringing together our medication tracking and ADL documentation into one place, even better, it makes creating care plans easy and automatically converts them into TARs and MARs that staff can print, so I think it's excellent value for the cost.
Cons
While I recognize that there are several areas that could use refinement, I've been encouraged by the team's openness to listen to suggestions and to roll out changes, yet I wish they would accelerate the pace at which user feedback is converted into tangible feature improvements so that the practical insights we provide actually appear faster within tool's functionality.

“User-friendly interface with training videos

My team is genuinely impressed by how easy the interface is to navigate and the training videos are a lifesaver when onboarding new staff because they make the whole process so much simpler.
Cons

“Central hub for communication
Pros
Having so much information gathered in a single, central place has been incredibly useful to me and I also find it serves as an excellent communication hub, honestly, I can't imagine wanting to operate without it anymore.
Cons
Over the past few months, this tool keeps freezing on our workstation, forcing us to sign out and then sign back in to regain access, although we've contacted support, they haven't provided any explanation for the issue and I'm honestly quite frustrated.

“difficult workflow steps

I find it very easy for our staff to navigate and since it's widely used throughout Fox Valley many caregivers are already familiar with it, the customer service team is consistently kind, patient and helpful, with excellent follow-ups.
Cons
When it comes to follow-ups like patches, I wish the system would offer an immediate prompt that asks whether the previous patch was removedbecause at the moment I can only schedule that follow-up five minutes later and we then have to log a separate patch removal as its own treatment, this extra step creates workflow friction and, frankly, leads to staff sometimes forgetting to take the old patch off if we aren't explicitly managing it. Another thing I would suggest is giving us the option to choose specific sections of the ISP to appear as 'active cares' for quick reference by our staff, although the current 'active cares' is meant to be a shortened version, in practice it still isn't efficient enough for our shifts and routines. We had hoped that active cares would resemble the one-page forms you often see printed and placed on patients' doors in nursing-home settings, with simple, actionable instructions for CNAs and since we already use several internal single-page forms like that, it would be incredibly helpful if the ISP could generate something similar so we're not duplicating work across two different areas. Right now we rely on a separate sheet that congreatates everything onto one page and that document lists the main categories and some examples, including Mental Status (example, alert/oriented), Speech (example, difficult to understand), Mobility Assistance (example, wheelchair), Transfer Assistance, Grooming Assistance, Special Equipment, Eyesight/Hearing, Medical Monitoring, Paralysis, Skin care, Bathing Assistance, Oral Care, Dressing, Eating Assistance, Toileting Assistance, Night Services, Behaviors/Safety, Medications, Activities, Advance Directives, Appointments, Housekeeping, Other Services and Evacuation Capability in Emergency situations.

“improved monitoring!
Pros
When Home Town Pharmacy introduced this tool to our facility, it really transformed things for me and my colleagues, allowing us to monitor residents and track medications in ways that improve our workflow.
Cons
Haven't come across major problems with this tool itself, although on occasion I end up waiting for the pharmacy to post medication updates which can take a while, despite that delay, everything tends to resolve itself over time.

Pros
It's simple to check which tasks, medication passes and observation entries are complete or outstanding and I also value being able to build behavioral-tracking reports, generate reports quickly and move clients between locations when needed.
Cons
For my part, I've observed that the pharmacy link can be sluggish at times when checking medications in and when discontinuing meds and I'd like a way to set up tickler reminders so I get alerted when six-month or annual care-plan reviews are due.

“Accurate, timely med administration
Pros
Ensuring medications are administered correctly during med passes is one of my top responsibilities, since timely and accurate doses directly affect resident safety and well-being.
Cons
Not a con but sometimes I run into a situation where a resident steps out of the facility during a scheduled medication pass but comes back before that pass period ends and in those cases we are required to re-admit them in the system as if they were present before the med-pass window started, this procedure can be very confusing for staffbecause it sometimes makes it look like the resident has no medications due which increases the risk of missed doses or documentation errors.

“simple layout, potential enhancements
Pros
The layout clicks with me and because it's simplely organized I find navigation easy, adding a voice-charting feature would be incredibly useful for those who struggle with typing.
Cons
I've mentioned before that implementing voice-operated charting would make things far simpler for users like me who type slowly, since dictation would save a lot of time and frustration compared to tapping everything out.
