Faster Triage and Better Tracking in the ER

Pros

eHospital allows us to be quick in registration and triage, rank patients based on priority and monitor those waiting and those in treatment. We have introduced the same real time board for doctors and nurses to have sight of, eliminating confusion when juggling staff during busy times and enhancing handovers to inpatient wards.

Cons

If lots of staff are updating records at the same time it can cause the system to be a bit slower sometimes but not always.

Our Nurses Spend Less Time Searching for Information

Pros

With eHospital, our nursing staff gives our doctors and ourselves one place to ensure that we have the patient's condition, doctor advice, medication plan, and handover information. Changes in vital signs and care plans occur in real time, aides shift changes and we aren't using forgotten paper notes anymore.

We Stopped Running Out of Critical Supplies Unexpectedly

Pros

Now, eHospital is able to monitor our medical supplies, consumables and equipment in real time. Automatic low stock alerts before we run out and we can request departments to put in requests through the system. This has minimized the need for emergency buying and the constant up and down delivery of goods between wards and store.

Cons

We had a bit more time than expected to get all of our stock items mapped and some of the bulk adjustment screens are a bit heavy when we have large deliveries.

Surgical Scheduling & Team Coordination are soaring to new heights of smoothness!

Pros

eHospital has transformed the way we are managing our operating theater schedules. Now, in the one place we can see surgeon availability, equipment status and case details; this has minimized last minute confusion. Communication between the surgical team, nursing staff and anesthetists is more effective as all the people involved share the same information. It has improved our daily OT planning to be more organized and predictable.

Cons

Even if the schedule changes suddenly or more than one specialty is involved, some manual coordination is needed outside of the system.

Useful for Quick Check but not yet strong enough for daily clinical

Pros

The mobile app has simplified our doctors' schedule, and they can now see basic patient information and notifications as they move from one consultation room to another. It minimizes the need to go back to a desktop to make simple updates. This flexibility has been useful to us during hectic periods as a small team.

Cons

The app is not as advanced as the desktop version.

We Can Finally See What’s Happening Across Departments

Pros

eHospital has given us clearer visibility into daily operations. We can now track patient volume by department, monitor revenue trends, and identify bottlenecks without waiting for end-of-month reports. This has helped us make faster decisions about staffing and resource allocation. The ability to pull basic performance reports ourselves has reduced our dependence on the IT team.

Cons

The more advanced dashboards still feel limited. Creating highly specific reports sometimes requires extra steps and is not as flexible as we hoped.

Our Pharmacy Finally Has Clear Visibility on Stock and Dispensing

Pros

Before eHospital, we were constantly chasing stock numbers across different departments and paper registers. Now the system shows us real-time medication levels, expiry alerts, and dispensing records in one place. Prescriptions come in digitally from the wards, so our team spends far less time clarifying orders. It has reduced shortages and improved how we prepare medications for patients.

Cons

Setting up the full drug formulary and dosage rules took more time than we expected at the beginning. Some of the inventory reports could be easier to customize for our specific needs.

Enhanced Pathology Workflow

Pros

It is commendable that the pathology workflows have become more manageable to monitor, and the organization of test information has significantly improved compared to our previous methods. This enhancement has greatly minimized the necessity for manual follow-up. In conclusion, this represents a reliable solution for the more efficient management of activities related to pathology.

Cons

Certain sections of the interface may appear somewhat congested when managing large volumes of data.

The bed management tools have significantly improved our ability to monitor patient occupancy and availability. This advancement has facilitated smoother admissions and transfers, particularly during peak periods.

Telemedicine Made Coordination Easier

Pros

The telemedicine feature really enhanced our ability to handle remote consultations with greater ease. It was fantastic having all the patient information and appointment details centralized, which cut down on unnecessary follow ups and boosted our coordination efforts.

Cons

On the flip side, new users did require a bit of time to get comfortable with the telemedicine workflow.

Our Nurses Spend Less Time on Paperwork and More Time With Patients

Pros

Patient handover notes are digital and accessible instantly across wards. Medication records update in real time eliminating any risk of outdated information. Ward scheduling is now linked directly to patient admission volumes which completely changed how we plan our shifts.

The mobile app needs improvement for nurses constantly on the move.

Finally a Hospital System Where Every Department Is on the Same Page

Pros

Before eHospital our departments were practically running as separate businesses. Now lab results reach the doctor before the patient even gets back to the ward, billing reconciles itself against clinical activity, and inventory alerts us before we run out of stock. Nobody is chasing anyone for information anymore. The onboarding support team was thorough and never made us feel rushed during the transition.

Cons

During our busiest morning shifts the platform occasionally lags when multiple departments are accessing it simultaneously.

Integration Between Departments Actually Works Here

Pros

What sold me on eHospital was how seamlessly the modules talk to each other. Lab results flow into patient records, billing pulls from clinical activity and scheduling syncs across departments without manual input. Three months in and the reduction in duplicate data entry alone has made it worth it for our team.

Doctors Know Their Schedule Without Calling the Front Desk

Pros

When a patient books online and then walks in early the system does not always flag it immediately but it is a minor thing we have learned to manage.

Cons

Since we started using eHospital doctors can see their full appointment schedule directly without calling or messaging the front desk. It has saved our reception team so much unnecessary back and forth every single morning. The SMS reminders to patients have also quietly reduced our empty appointment slots without us doing anything extra. Con

Running the Practice Is Less Stressful Than It Was Before......4/5

Pros

Scheduling, billing and inventory are three things that used to take up most of my day. eHospital handles all three without me jumping between different systems. Seven months in and my team spends more time on patients than on paperwork which is exactly what we needed.

Cons

Loading times can slow down during peak hours and it is noticeable when the whole team is logged in at the same time. We have reported it and support acknowledged it.
