“Scheduling and goal setting is great”
Pros
Scheduling has been the best part for me and setting goals has also been a real upside. It keeps my plans organized and makes it easier to stay focused on what I'm aiming for.
Cons
The only sticking point is that getting a report showing all sessions completed each month isn't simple to access.

“amazing calendar templates & reports”
Pros
Using it has been way more simple than writing everything down on paper. The calendar is honestly the best part.. having dedicated templates plus color coding lets me instantly see whether a session is regular, a makeup, or direct supervision. I can also mark dates as unavailable so my scheduling stays accurate. Carrying notes from the previous session into the current one is another feature I really appreciate since it saves time and keeps context. On top of that, it handles task solving and reporting really well and the messaging system makes it simple to communicate with parents without bouncing between apps. Setup was also quick and painless which helped me get started immediately.
Cons
Nothing.. everything works great.

“goal-aligned daily notes”
Pros
The note format is really simple to work with and it fits naturally with how I organize my goals. My daily notes stay lined up with what I'm trying to achieve and I can follow my progress without any hassle right inside each day's note.
Cons
Tasks I still need to finish feel a bit strangely tucked away.. the items I'm supposed to complete are hidden down at the bottom of the left panel.

“all-in-one scheduling & billing win”
Pros
Fusion by Ensora Health brings scheduling, communications and billing into a single platform which really organizes day-to-day workflows. The claim management features help organize and move billing along with less back-and-forth and the interface feels simple after you get used to it. Having patient information in one place, plus the ability to track claims more easily, cuts down on administrative work and boosts overall productivity. Between patient scheduling, electronic documentation, claim management, insurance verifications and payment tracking, the feature set covers the core practice-management needs in one system which helps reduce manual tasks and keeps daily operations running smoothly.
Cons
There is a learning curve for new users and certain routine actions can take extra clicks. On top of that, loading larger patient records or heavier reports can feel slower at times. It also seems like the reporting and customization options could be more flexible. That said, these issues are relatively minor and the platform still performs well for managing everyday operations.

“fast scheduling edits”
Pros
I'm constantly updating the schedule and the way it handles client-name changes is a huge time-saver. In other programs, swapping the client for a specific time usually means deleting the whole appointment and starting over. With Fusion, I can just edit the client name and the entire profile updates automatically for that booking. On top of that, the drag-and-drop appointments make organizing sessions a lot quicker and I can label appointment types using color coding.. ST/OT, in-person vs. telehealth, treatment vs. eval. There are also document icons right on the appointment so I can immediately tell which items still need to be completed without leaving the scheduling screen. That visual cue has been really helpful.
Cons
Every once in a while it glitches especially around note completion. For example, when I selected a client name to finish yesterday's speech therapy session note, an old note from last year that was still blank suddenly appeared. I ended up completing that old note without realizing it, then still had to complete yesterday's note and finally had to go back and locate the old note on the calendar to delete it. I'm not sure what triggers it or how it can be prevented.

“workflow-friendly claims and billing”
Pros
What I really appreciate is how information carries over between documents especially with the pre-built templates, electronic billing and the ERA system included. Fusion by Ensora Health has helped me keep claim processing and insurance verification much more accurate. Since adopting their billing tools, I've cut down on hours of work that previously required extra billing staff. Although setup did take some time, the Ensora team guided us through the process step by step and everything ended up going smoothly.
Cons
During evaluations and re-evaluations the amount of drop-down boxes and options can slow things down. It would be faster if each therapist could tailor the evaluation to their own needs instead of having to pick through the same options every time. Setup still took a bit of time though the Ensora staff walkthrough made it manageable.

“smooth task flow”
Pros
This platform keeps my scheduling really organized, shows me clearly which clients I'm booked for and helps me manage my tasks without feeling cluttered. The documentation tools are simple to navigate and the visual layout makes everything feel simple. It also didn't take long to learn and I've been able to teach other people how to use it without too much back-and-forth. Overall it helps me stay organized, organize my thoughts and clinical reasoning into my notes and keep my documentation aligned with each client's goals and plan of care.
Cons
I'd love a dictation option where I can speak while I'm writing notes and assessments so AI could generate a report based on what I observed and how I'm thinking through the clinical reasoning. I don't really want the system listening to the entire session.. since OTs tend to move around a lot.. so having a "dictate at my desk" workflow would cut down the time and energy spent on documentation and make it easier to stay focused on the goals and reasoning behind the notes.

“browser-friendly working”
Pros
Really enjoying how simple Fusion feels to use. The screen layout stays uncluttered.. no extra distractions.. so every option feels efficient and simple. Labels are clear and I can quickly find what I need without second-guessing. I also appreciate that it works across any browser so there's no need to download another app.
Cons
Occasionally the pop-ups take a moment to appear though it isn't frequent. Another limitation I ran into is that you can't open two tabs at the same time which is a bit inconvenient when I want to compare things side by side.

“organized, self-explanatory workflow”
Pros
I appreciate how Fusion feels organized and simple to use. I didn't need any training to get started either.. everything is self-explanatory which really helped since I'm not a computer person. It fits nicely into a busy pediatric clinic routine without adding extra hassle.
Cons
Nothing to complain about. it's efficient, easy to work with and a solid fit for a pediatric clinic.

“simple navigation and easy management”
Pros
The best part is how simple it is to keep everything organized. Navigation feels simple and managing the system doesn't take much effort.
Cons
One thing that's missing for our workflow: once a document is opened, there's no way to jump back to past findings to correct copayments.

“efficient, legally safer OT documentation”
Pros
It lets me fully document the occupational therapy service I provide. It also seems more legally reliable than handwritten notes. Once I'm inside a note, navigating around is simple and I genuinely like the way the format is laid out. Compared with the other systems I've tried, this one is the most simple to follow, with solid drop-down options and plenty of room for my own comments. Setup was also smooth because they guided us through it and since then it's been a strong system overall.. I've run into very few problems.
Cons
Occasionally I struggle with the menu and creating a discharge note without it being tied to a specific date isn't simple for me. Navigation can get pretty confusing so I've ended up writing down the steps. I also miss a feature where I could click a child's address and have a map pop up to check how far the home is and the estimated travel time.

“integrated referrals to billing workflow”
Pros
I really like how Fusion covers multiple areas of our practice in one connected system. It pulls together referral and waitlist tracking, scheduling, appointment reminders, documentation and even claims processing and patient billing. On top of that, the Ensora team provides a solid library of help articles and they've been actively rolling out improvements.. like an AI Assistant.. to help manage our day-to-day workflow.
Cons
Reporting is the feature that's been hardest for me to get comfortable with. Even though custom reports are available, the process still doesn't feel very simple. Staff also told me the documentation workflow isn't as simple as it should be and they spend extra time linking details between evaluative appointments and treatment appointments.

“webinars, support and workflow add-ons”
Pros
Ensora Health team's frequent webinars and live streams have really helped our group get the most out of Fusion. Their support staff is also very reachable and I appreciate that they don't just hear feedback.. they act on it and keep pushing improvements to the platform's functionality. Fusion works especially well in multi-user setups and the pricing feels like strong value. On top of that, being able to customize our clinic's workflow using the different add-on features has made a noticeable difference for us.
Cons
Even though this software is pretty proactive about refining workflows and improving the product, a few things could be better. The kiosk feature, for example, doesn't currently support completing intake forms which would cut down a lot of time for our staff and patients. I've also run into occasional minor glitches after software updates though the support team usually responds fast and fixes things quickly. If the kiosk capabilities were expanded to cover intake forms, it would noticeably improve the overall experience.

“fast scheduling and strong support”
Pros
Fusion genuinely makes clinicians' day-to-day work easier, mainly because support is quick to reach when questions come up. The interface is simple to get the hang of which speeds up scheduling right away and there are also a lot of customization options that help clinical writing move along without feeling stuck in rigid templates.
Cons
The only part that throws me off is remembering whether specific files open through the 'eye' icon or whether they'll open just by clicking the title.

“top-notch customer care team”
Pros
This platform feels really well put together.. its interface is visually appealing and navigation comes across as simple. The customer service has been consistently friendly and genuinely helpful too. What also stands out is how often the team rolls out improvements and new technology changes in response to user feedback. On top of that, there's a lot of support and learning material included which makes it easier to get up to speed and keep improving how you use the system.
Cons
It does cost more than some other EMRs but the extra price seems justified since the service and overall functionality are stronger than what many competitors offer.

“simple notes plus fast service team turnaround”
Pros
I think Fusion has been the best practice software I've used in my 13 years as an occupational therapist. It's simple to pick up and feels really simple especially when training new employees.. our note writing and the whole billing submission process moves much faster as a result. I'm also genuinely impressed by the customer service: when I have questions or need help with something, the support team responds quickly and the answers are solid.
Cons
Pricing can be steep for smaller practices or for those just getting started. There are also a few minor annoyances, like printing schedules taking extra steps than I'd expect and the scheduling screen doesn't display in 5-minute increments which makes scheduling a bit more challenging for our scheduler.

“clinician-friendly scheduling”
Pros
The clinician workflow feels really approachable and I like how the reports are formatted. The schedule layout is laid out in a way that makes daily planning more manageable. Another big plus is that it's simple to add users or remove them when roles change.
Cons
I've struggled with finding and generating the exact reports I need. The overall layout can feel confusing and I often end up asking my assistant or Fusion support to get the right reports generated. I also don't like that the appointment reminder system doesn't allow any back-and-forth communication between patients and staff.. just a one-way reminder hasn't been effective for our patient demographic.

“insights, reporting and custom assessments are available”
Pros
Fusion really stands out for me because of the Insights and reporting. I can quickly see how things are going across productivity, patient attendance, receivables and even whether the team is on track with documentation and upcoming deadlines. Instead of hunting down separate tools for each area, it gives me a much clearer overall view of what's happening operationally. Another part I appreciate is how flexible the reporting is.. you can build custom reports around the specific metrics you actually want to monitor. We also like that standardized testing can be uploaded straight into Fusion for assessments which keeps everything in one place and makes the assessment workflow feel a lot more organized. Overall the visibility and the ability to tailor what you're tracking are the big reasons I keep enjoying the system.
Cons
The only thing I wish Fusion had more of is stronger safeguards and a bit more customization for our workflows. For instance, when payer information gets updated, I think there should be clearer warnings or additional safeguards to avoid accidental changes that could unintentionally impact billing or existing patient records. It would also help if reports included translation capabilities since we frequently work with families who speak different languages. On top of that, I'd love an option to grey out provider schedules when someone is unavailable (or when those times shouldn't be scheduled) so it's easier to visually tell what's available versus not. None of these are dealbreakers but tightening those areas would make Fusion feel even more simple and reduce the chance of administrative mistakes.

“we really enjoyed this !”
Pros
We've genuinely enjoyed how user-friendly the platform is and the support team has been quick and responsive whenever we've needed help. We started using Fusion back in 2017 with just 5 users and it's grown to 16 users since then which says a lot about how well it's worked for our team.
Cons
What we'd like to see improved is the reporting side.. customizing reports using different parameters still needs better flexibility and refinement. We also want more reliable ways to ensure remittances get posted correctly when double payments come through. Finally, it would be useful to have stronger functionality for setting up different benefits for different disciplines so the correct payment information can be automatically populated when a patient checks in.

“fast phrase creation for docs”
Pros
I really like how quickly I can generate short phrases for my documentation. It speeds up writing and helps keep my notes consistent without spending forever on wording.
Cons
Once the document is started, it can get pretty tricky to adjust appointment components.. like changing the appointment location or switching the appointment type. That part feels a bit rigid compared to the rest of the workflow.
