“A fantastic tool!
Pros
The efficiency of this app is really amazing. I can easily create the right documentation in a short time. It is also really simple to set it up and use it. The customer support is always quick to respond.
Cons
The checkout feature is unclear. I can't always tell who has been checked out since it doesn't get grayed out.

“Our customer success manager was fantastic! When we switched over to support turnaround time long.
Pros
I love the integrated clearinghouse and the ease of posting payments. Claims are processed instantly and sorted into accepted, rejected, etc.
Cons
I dislike the lack of billing clarity when posting patient payments. It's difficult to see which dates were paid and which were not.

Pros
Fusion is so simple to use. Notes are concise and not redundant, making them quick to write. Customer service is excellent!
Cons
Managing and finding goals is a bit challenging. I wish they were more visible when writing evaluations and re-evaluations.

“Easy to use. Streamlines aspects of a therapist's job.
Pros
I love how uncomplicated it is to use. The goal bank makes adding goals easy, and the SOAP note makes recording and tracking data simple. Also Fusion Web Clinic allows me to see goal progress in charts as I complete a SOAP note. Progress notes are easy with all the data readily available. Viewing client progress is easy for both me as the therapist and for parents and doctors.
Cons
Setting up different appointment types has to be done manually. For instance, if a progress note is needed every three months, Fusion doesn't automatically generate a progress note appointment; the user must change the appointment type manually. This isn't very time-consuming, but the system should be advanced enough to handle this automatically.

“Fusion works great for my company.
Pros
The documentation and billing features save me a lot of time. It's nice to have all my PAs, POCs, and re-evaluations tracked for me.
Cons
I look forward to being able to charge credit cards through Fusion. I continue to use my own evaluation and re-evaluation templates because they are faster for me, though this doesn't mean Fusion's templates don't work well for others.

Pros
Integrated insurance billing, upcoming credit card processing, and simple scheduling and note writing make it very efficient.
Cons
Credit card processing isn't active yet. I can't wait until this new service is fully set up!

“Overall it has been pretty good, but set up was very difficult and we're still learning!
Pros
It covers most of what you need in a note, and the signature feature is excellent. The retrieval capabilities are also impressive.
Cons
Navigating the system is challenging. If I start typing a note and step away, I lose track of which note I was on since the patient's name/date isn't on every screen. There's no option to undo or revert typing. Deleting or editing appointments can cause them to disappear or move unexpectedly, and there's no way to undo this. Editing often results in accidental deletions. It's also frustrating that I can't see which specific notes a patient owes when viewing the list. Additionally, paying full price for someone who visits infrequently has deterred me from hiring part-time substitutes. An office assistant can't add information to an evaluation without being credited, which is impractical. Supervisors should have the ability to override assistants' entries in SOAP notes and recall notes written by assistants. There are numerous issues with the system.

Pros
I forthright the add-on options for repeat treatments and how easy it is to click and add them to the note. The available activities list is also very useful.
Cons
There's little I dislike about it. Occasionally, my email autofills in inappropriate fields, which I then have to delete. But this is a minor inconvenience.

Pros
The ability to handle insurance billing, track payments by payers and clients, and create invoices within the same program saves time and reduces errors.
Cons
Some processes for handling payments and corrections are not easy. Fusion has methods in place, but they are not always easy to understand.

The Task Manager bar is simple and effectively keeps track of tasks I need to complete in the upcoming weeks.
Cons
I'm still figuring out the POC system. I want reassessment notes to appear in the plan of care, but even after changing the visibility, they don't show up as desired.

“This is the third EMR system I have used and by far it is superior to the others.
Pros
Billing and applying payments are simple. The dashboard reminders for incomplete notes and unbilled charges are very helpful.
Cons
There are limitations on running certain reports. It's also frustrating that a progress update is generated with a re-evaluation and cannot be deleted. It would be beneficial if documents could be peer-reviewed before completion.

Pros
It's very intuitive and easy to teach yourself to use. It's efficient for SOAP notes and accessing client information easily.
Cons
My company doesn't use this software for evaluations because we find it difficult to adapt for that purpose. However, SOAP notes have been very effective.

I like the billing system and having all patient information in one place. It's quite manageable and easy to use. Customer service is great when they call back, but when the admin is only in a couple of days a week, there might not be anyone to answer the call to resolve the issue. I get instant alerts for any issues, which help me stay on top of billing and other tasks.
Cons
I could probably use the system more efficiently with reports and other features, but I don't have time to explore and learn everything. It's expensive, especially for adding one part-time therapist. The system doesn't let you clear out old deleted patients, which I'd like to clean up. It also doesn't notify you if your billing isn't submitted within a certain timeframe (e.g., one month).

Once you get used to it, it's quite intuitive, but the support team has been incredibly helpful and supportive in learning the system.
Cons
We can't make certain adjustments to Medicare claims in Fusion. If we don't set up a support call, it sometimes takes two days to get a response. We've opted for weekly support calls instead.

Pros
As a pediatric PT for 37 years, I've never used a system so tailored to pediatric documentation, nor one so easy to learn and use. The system allows for efficient documentation, and the reports are comprehensive without being redundant. I love using FUSION.
Cons
I have very few complaints. It would be nice to have a feature that tracks the number of visits within a given timeframe.

Pros
I value the dropdown arrows for SOAP notes and assessments, which make my documentation more efficient. I often utilize the mastery setting in goal writing, allowing me to monitor my data and track when goals are achieved.
Cons
My least favorite aspect is the template for feeding therapy. It's not as efficient for me since I don't see many infants. I'd prefer something more general or segmented by age groups.

“Does Most Things Great But Support Lacking and Company Inflexible
Pros
Fusion has developed a stable and effective product. The app loads quickly in the browser, making navigation efficient. Most features are ideal for an SLP/OT/PT therapy clinic with clients of any age, even though it's marketed as pediatric-focused. The best part is the ease and speed of completing SOAP notes and submitting claims to insurance.
Cons
It's challenging to develop software that meets diverse user needs. After two years with Fusion, I've noticed a decline in customer service. Fusion used to be more accommodating and service-oriented. Our clinic doesn't expect custom features, but even small changes that would benefit us and other clinics are often refused. Support has also declined; a few months ago, the clearinghouse they use messed up many claims, and Fusion handled it poorly. Their support manager sent multiple long emails with confusing instructions, forcing us to call them. It was a disaster, even though we had only a few affected claims. I feel Fusion has become overconfident and lacks quality staff. They believe their support is excellent, but when we say otherwise, they respond with disbelief. I like the software overall, but it's becoming harder to work with as my clinic grows.

It's useful to have all treatment notes and goals in one place. Notes can be completed quickly once you're familiar with the layout.
Cons
The software could be more intuitive. Some parts are repetitive and redundant, making documentation more tedious than necessary. The visual layout is cluttered in some areas, and there's either too much or too little space for typing notes.
