“clean scheduling, confusing reports”
Pros
The scheduling system looks polished and is simple to navigate and I really appreciate that our payment system syncs automatically and posts transactions and payments directly to the account.
Cons
There are a lot of reports available and I'm still not really sure how to make the best use of them.

“Helpful support that keeps trying”
Pros
Their support team is consistently helpful and always willing to dig in and find answers whenever questions come up.
Cons
Navigation can be confusing at times and it takes a lot of training since the system doesn't always feel naturally designed.

The interface feels less polished during daily note entry and customizing it can be a bit challenging.

“simple to use and a joy”
Pros
Working in this software every day is genuinely enjoyable because it's so simple to use. The Genesis team is always on top of things and responds to questions and requests very quickly. I also really enjoy our monthly "health checks" with Robin.
Cons
Honestly I have nothing negative to say. I love everything about this software.

“customization that boosts speed”
Pros
There's an impressive amount of customization in this program and all those options help me get through my notes pretty quickly and efficiently.
Cons
With so many ways to customize everything, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Thankfully, the support team is very helpful and makes it much easier to work through.

“responsive support every time”
Pros
Whenever my team or I send in a ticket, we get a response really quickly. There's always someone getting back to us right away which has been fantastic.
Cons
One issue is that discharged patients still end up on the No Future Appointments list so we have to manually set the Max Days between visits to 999,999.

“fast support and helpful training”
Pros
Whenever questions come up, the team gets back to us quickly and usually provides a solution right away.
Cons
The ICD-10 transition was challenging but Genesis gave us plenty of chances to join conference calls and webinars that helped us work through the change.

“all-in-one patient tracking”
Pros
Keeping up with everything related to our patients is pretty simple with this software. It covers the POS, records, scheduling and payments all in one place which makes day-to-day work much more manageable.
Cons
It can be glitchy from time to time especially when updates are being rolled out.

“Practice visibility”
Pros
Having my schedule, billing, stats, patient history and EMRs all in one platform makes things much more convenient and keeps everything I need in one place.
Cons
The EMR side feels a little buggy at first and comes with a learning curve before it starts to feel natural.

“billing works, xDocs doesn't”
Pros
One thing that helps a lot is that billing runs automatically once the notes are submitted. The schedule is also very simple to read and use which makes day-to-day planning simpler.
Cons
Getting xDocs configured the way we want can be frustrating at times and there are occasions when it just stops working randomly for no clear reason. The wording in the charting section also does not always flow naturally.

“powerful macros and insurance integration”
Pros
Getting it set up with the POS system and insurance workflows worked out really well. The macros are also very user-friendly and make daily tasks much more efficient.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost especially for software you never actually own. There are other programs available at a much lower price and even though Genesis does offer more, the difference in cost was big enough that I seriously considered switching.

“customizable cloud access”
Pros
Having everything cloud-based has been a huge plus because I can pull up my schedule and patient files from any computer. The software is also fully customizable with macros which makes entering patient notes fast and efficient. Another feature I really appreciate is the Posture Analysis integration since it lets me upload images directly into the patient file without any hassle.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is the option for patients to complete their intake forms online. It would be much better if that information could flow directly into their file instead of having them fill out paper forms first.

“Aids in office growth”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how user-friendly the software is, along with how willing everyone at the company is to help. I've never worked with a software provider that wanted to meet every month just to make sure the office was becoming more profitable. Genesis has played a big part in helping my practice grow while also improving the level of care we give our patients.
Cons
Honestly there's not much to complain about. We really enjoy the product and think it's excellent. The staff is incredibly helpful and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything keeps running properly.

“helpful team and fast support”
Pros
As a new startup, keeping costs down matters a lot and the outsourcing plus immediate help with staff training has really made that possible. The Genesis team has been very easy to work with and quick to respond whenever questions come up which helps keep the office running well and gets problems resolved almost right away.
Cons
I do wish there were more flexibility to customize some of the reports. It would also help to have separate categories for PT and Chiro maximums.

“cloud access with posture tools”
Pros
Being cloud-based is a huge plus because I can log into Genesis from any computer as long as there's internet access. As a CBO doctor, I also really appreciate how well it works with PostureRay and posture screening.
Cons
The downside is that the software's performance depends on the quality of the internet connection. At my clinic, internet issues sometimes cause things to run slower which can be frustrating during a busy schedule.

“all-in-one access anywhere”
Pros
Everything is in one user-friendly platform and being able to log in from home is a big plus.
Cons
Honestly I've been really happy with all of it. The only problem we've run into was the sync between ZingIT and Genesis but it's pretty rare. A couple of times, reminder texts went out in the wrong time zone and once we reported it, the fix was handled right away.

“Poor training”
Pros
Once a patient is already established, getting their notes finished is pretty quick.
Cons
The training feels badly organized. I also use Chirotouch and while their process is long and boring, you at least come away knowing how to use the system. With Genesis, it seems like they wait for you to ask questions instead of teaching proactively. They more or less let you make mistakes first and then show you how to fix them.

“quick support and simple navigation”
Pros
Getting around the system feels very simple and whenever I have a question, the help desk is quick to call back and help me out.
Cons
It would be helpful to have pop-ups or reminders tied to each patient. For example, when checking someone in, a message could appear if there's something specific they still need to do.

“fast support and flexible training”
Pros
Whenever an issue comes up, the staff responds very quickly and gets things handled. The online training is also a big plus since you can go through it at your own pace instead of sitting through long instructor-led sessions.
Cons
There's definitely a learning curve but that mostly comes from how much the software can do.

“chiropractic-focused and reliable”
Pros
After more than 9 years of using Genesis, I'm still very happy with it. It's designed specifically for chiropractors which makes a big difference in day-to-day use. The fact that it's web-based is also incredibly useful because I can sign in from anywhere and access my clinic account without needing to set up an expensive server network for my staff. Another big plus is the extra training and webinars they provide on relevant chiropractic topics. The ICD-10 training, for example, was fantastic and I make a point to watch every webinar to stay current with what's happening in the chiropractic field.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any downsides. Anytime an issue comes up, we submit a ticket and it gets handled promptly.
