Pros
At our office we appreciate several features of Genesis. It effectively links schedules and allows the doctor to access notes quickly. The software is also linked to our online scheduling system and review platform improving communication with our patients. Moreover it has an internal task bar that enables HIPAAcompliant communication within the office and we can easily streamline our inquiries with the Genesis team or billing.
Cons
Genesis has a wide range of functions but we only utilize around 25 of them. However the intake process has been challenging for our patients as it is not easy to navigate and takes longer than expected. Additionally the page transitions are slow due to the multiple processes occurring simultaneously. To address this we increased our computer's RAM to 16GB as our previous 8GB was inadequate.

Cons
The inventory does not allow a bash-based system. Initially the training seemed too long.

Difficult to access the report writing feature and comparing charts is also not that easy.

They are constantly updating the system and the reporting features help us generate charts and information. We do not have any difficulty connecting with the customer service either.

The number of clicks required for medical billing is too high.

We have been using Genesis EHR for about 10 years and it has been nothing but a blessing. Everything to need is literally a click away, You can make it look according to your requirements. Easy to use, flexible, and consistent.
Cons
I wish that they had a system of talking to the customer staff directly than having to open a ticket.
