“Simple and user-friendly setup”
Pros
Getting around Genesis has been very simple to work with. Everything is laid out clearly, easy to locate and pretty much explains itself.
Cons
Entering patients' insurance information is the part that takes the most effort.

“web-based access and smooth integrations”
Pros
Being web-based has been a huge plus because I can handle work from home and still have all my files right in front of me. I also really appreciate how well it connects with the major processing and texting companies which makes everything feel pretty smooth. It would be even better if they had their own built-in options for that so we could save both money and time.
Cons
Setting up macros takes some effort especially when trying to sort out what I actually need versus what I don't. I've also run into issues with the billing team and it's frustrating to still be stuck doing all the updates and behind-the-scenes work while paying both them and my own staff.

“User-friendly and self-explanatory”
Pros
Even as someone new to it, most of the features make sense right away and are pretty self-explanatory.
Cons
I really haven't run into any major problems with the system. On the very rare occasions something has come up, the outreach team has been excellent about resolving it and explaining it in a simple way so I know how to handle it myself next time.

“patient scheduling and records access”
Pros
Having quick access to patient scheduling, financials and medical records makes the software really convenient to use day to day.

Pros
Getting started only took a day of training and the software felt very user friendly right away. Whenever questions come up, the support team is always there and ready to help.

Like any new software it still takes some effort and time to learn how to use it properly.

“cloud tools with frustrating onboarding”
Pros
Task management works well, it's cloud-based, it connects with Blue IQ and having multiple locations on the same platform is definitely useful.
Cons
The Blue IQ integration hasn't been nearly as good as it was with ChiroTouch. The accounting side is lacking and the platform feels inconsistent in both how it works and how processes are handled. Onboarding was incredibly stressful and setting up macros by an entire note "type" instead of individually has been frustrating. Even after 6 weeks, I'm still waiting on answers to questions that are delaying business.

“Good fit for busy clinics”
Pros
Running a busy chiropractic office is much more manageable with Genesis because it covers all the core tasks we need day to day. It also connects well with outside services which helps a lot with appointment reminders, X-ray software and handling online statements and payments.
Cons
It is not the best match for a smaller office since it seems to work better the larger the practice is. Another thing to keep an eye on is the pricing because each add-on comes with its own monthly charge so it is worth reviewing invoices regularly to make sure you are actually using everything you are paying for. The other downside was support since getting a live person could sometimes take a while. Even after using the service for more than five years, there was never a direct phone number to a specific representative so I never really knew who my first point of contact would be.

“top-tier support and reliability”
Pros
this software has been a dependable part of our office. It's user-friendly and the support team is truly top tier. I've worked with most of the software options in the chiropractic industry and this company and product clearly outperform the competition.
Cons
the only downside is that it's still software and any software can be a little frustrating at times. It does take some time to customize, just like any other system. But once everything is set up the way you need it, I really don't have any complaints.

“responsive support team”
Pros
Whenever an issue comes up, their customer service gets back to me quickly which really matters in a world where you need answers right away.
Cons
It becomes more manageable once you've built your own workflow around it. That said there are a lot of parts I never use so it can feel a little buggy at times.

“one-tap macros save time”
Pros
Setting up macros is simple and I really appreciate how customizable they are. If you want a task to become a one-tap action, the system lets you make that happen. Once you decide how you want it to work, you can build it around that.
Cons
The training side could be better especially when it comes to areas the trainers are less familiar with. The fee estimator in particular seems to be a weak spot and could use more knowledgeable guidance.

“Flexible scheduling for recurring visits”
Pros
Being able to set up different appointment types with varied spacing has been a big plus. It works especially well for patients I see every three weeks and I've really been enjoying that added scheduling flexibility.
Cons
Switching between patients while scheduling could be more smooth. At times, the system doesn't select the patient when I click which can lead to appointments being scheduled incorrectly. It's especially frustrating when I'm trying to correct a bulk scheduling setup.

“easy task tracking and scheduling”
Pros
I can create tasks, assign them to different users and track follow-up all of which has been really useful. It also helps that quick stops can be added, treatment plan scheduling is much more manageable and billing becomes pretty simple once you learn how it works.
Cons
One frustrating part is that when opening a different tab, it usually needs to be refreshed before it displays properly. If a tab stays open too long, it starts glitching and you have to refresh it and pull that patient up again. Appointment types also are not grouped or linked so if a visit includes two different scheduled items, both appointments have to be canceled instead of just one. Another issue is that quick stops do not automatically appear when the patient chart is opened which makes them easy to miss.

“adaptable system with stellar support”
Pros
It adjusts well to different situations and the customer support has been excellent.
Cons
I've used three chiropractic software systems and honestly I haven't truly loved any of them. I still miss working on paper but out of all the options I've tried, this is the one I prefer the most.. or at least dislike the least.

“packed with features and simple to learn”
Pros
Compared with other systems I've worked with, this one is much simpler to use. It also gives us more features for the price which makes it an even better value. The training was simple, we learned it very quickly and I really enjoyed working with the training team.
Cons
The only downside right now is that the stats need to be corrected because they are counting all patients as new. I've been told that issue is already being worked on.
