Convinient and Easy

Pros

Kareo University proved to be very helpful in familiarizing myself with the platform. The option to revisit the courses makes it effortless to address any areas that require attention.

Cons

The accounts receivable (AR) section can be confusing, especially when you have to input insurance details, and when the patient returns, it adds another case.

Pros

Managing things through it is incredibly simple. I like the ability to send documents to patients for completion, although they are not seamlessly integrated into the patient's chart.

Cons

I had to switch because I didn't like the billing system and the customer service for billing was extremely inadequate. The staff was rude and unhelpful.

GOOD OVERALL SERVICE

Pros

The ease of use is outstanding. Everything is so easily accessible. I particularly like the option to e-fax records directly from this platform, eliminating the need to use other platforms or go through the hassle of saving and uploading files elsewhere.

Cons

The functionality is a major issue. Almost every day, it lags, and the pages take forever to load. There was a period when it kept kicking us out of our account and wouldn't let us log back in. Moreover, there's no option to input your card details on the site; you have to call customer service. Unfortunately, the customer service representatives I've dealt with have been rude and condescending.

Just a wonderful platform

Pros

The staff and their support throughout the initial setup, ongoing training, handling billing issues and routine practice management have been exceptional. Customer support is undoubtedly the most key aspect of a program like this, and they have an incredible team!

Cons

I believe the mobile app has more problems than I did prefer, but I understand that it's challenging to incorporate all the features of the desktop version into an app without any issues.

Kareo now Tebra is laughable

Pros

The telehealth feature, when operational is a nice addition.

Cons

Kareo is the worst EHR system I've ever used. It constantly malfunctions, and they regularly remove features and products without prior notice. Additionally, it only works on Windows-based computers.

Feels like a scam at this point

Pros

The ease of setup and the support provided at the beginning were seamless.

Cons

They failed to deliver on their promises. Once you're set up, they attempt to upsell you on a blog writing service for an additional $200 per month. They claim that a blog will bring the traffic you need, not their SEO. When I made it clear that I didn't want to spend more money, they completely stopped communicating with me.

Kareo Poor results with service tickets. Poor platform. Poor technical support.

Pros

I used to like their product (when it was Kareo) before Tebra took over.

Cons

I've encountered multiple issues, and the service tickets remain unresolved. The communication is extremely poor. Tech support closes tickets without providing a solution. As someone who primarily does telemedicine (about 95%), I frequently experience connectivity issues, even though my connection is stable. I never had these problems with Kareo under Tebra. I have several open tickets, and I have to update them daily with a note saying "no response yet" just to hold them accountable. Once a ticket is closed, I can't add a note from the user end. To top it all off, both I and my colleague, who also uses Tebra in his practice, received a PR email from the CTO claiming that the system had been issue-free for over 60 days, despite the fact that we had multiple open tickets.

I strongly advise against signing up there's nothing I recommend.

Cons

I strongly discourage using TebraKareo. They fail to notify you of new appointments unless you're at your computer which is the only way to send intake forms. Despite requesting an app they misunderstood and provided a computer app. Upon wanting to cancel they demanded payment for 14 months of service arguing that I should have clarified computer or phone app. You won't even receive email notifications for new appointment requests unless you're in front of your computer rendering your set automations ineffective.
