I wish I could go back.

Pros

I have pending expectations regarding the KPIs although my optimism is limited.

Cons

The customer service and account management have been subpar. Our success coach initially had little knowledge and lacked direction leading to weeks of delays and follow ups. ERA enrollment has also been problematic with poor response times. Password changes were made without notification locking me out of my account. I have reservations about choosing Kareo.

Ok in the beginning but disappointed

Pros

It offers a userfriendly experience and their initial support staff and training are impressive. Their pricing is reasonable especially for small practices.

Cons

My experience with Kareo following the 90day onboarding was deeply disappointing. Once the initial period ended their support dwindled. While they were initially eager to assist and resolve issues the transition to an active practice revealed unforeseen problems. Unfortunately they declined further assistance referring me to a helpline. To make matters worse my support request from five days ago remains unanswered. If you rely on strong customer support especially as a small practice be cautious about the talented salespeople's promises you may be left without answers.

Kareo has potential but is not a good product currently.

Pros

My experience with it was entirely negative. The product is currently subpar and the company should focus more on improving functionality rather than investing heavily in sales and advertising for an inferior product.

Cons

Numerous issues include outdated help section content inadequate support a nonintegrated messaging system and difficulties associated with managing multiple practitioners in an office. Additionally it's challenging to review messages and find relevant content. If you ever need to refer back to a message the search feature doesn't work as intended.

Buyer Beware

Pros

Despite the promising claims they made they failed to deliver on their commitments.

Cons

Their customer support is virtually nonexistent and I'm considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Very User-Friendly!

Pros

One of the things I really liked about Kareo was the ability to message clients directly from the platform. It was incredibly useful for communication purposes.

Cons

The software was easy to learn and navigate, particularly the charting features. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to message clients through the portal.

Cons

Over the course of a oneyear contract billing problems interface issues a lack of customization and timeconsuming tasks make the software challenging to use particularly for larger notes such as SUD assessments. Workability in this EMR is extremely problematic.

The initial set-up process was decent, and I appreciated the integration of various features.

Cons

Customer support was lacking. I had multiple documentation issues that remained unresolved for an entire year. The software doesnt offer lower pricing for alternate billing professionals like therapists, SUDPs, or peer counselors, so it quickly becomes expensive. Theres also a lack of customization options for notes, making it difficult and cumbersome to create larger notes, such as an SUD assessment.

The software lacks lowercost alternatives for billing professionals like therapists SUDPs and peer counselors ultimately becoming costly. Stay Away

Pros

A unique narrative unfolds Epic invited to dinner by Kareo forms an unlikely friendship. However after the dinner Epic realizes it left its wallet at Kareo's house leading to a dispute over the wallet's return. A billing error further complicates matters with Kareo refusing to provide a refund. This tale has more to reveal including grievances about customer service.
