“Why Kipu?
Pros
Kipu served us very nicely. It is a platform that simplifies every task through user friendly clicks allowing us to manage all records in one place.
Cons
There are a few glitches and sometimes it hangs but other than that Kipu is the best software we have ever used.

Kipu simplifies our daily operations for our medical and clinical staff. Its important for us to swiftly train our staff on the EMR system and Kipu allows us to do so effortlessly. The customization options are a major advantage,enabling us to arrange things as we prefer and generate the desired reports.
Cons
Over the past two years we have not had to rely on customer service frequently but we have had a few different account representatives which can be a bit concerning.

I absolutely love its user friendliness and ease of use. The EMR system is truly self explanatory. The option to auto populate documents based on specific needs is incredible.
Cons
Recently I have not encounter something that bothers me. The improvement of KIPU over the years has been remarkable.

I greatly appreciate KIPUs user-friendly functionality. Ive had experience with other Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for the various facilities our company manages, and KIPU stands out as the superior option. The investment in KIPU is certainly worthwhile. Although it might be somewhat more expensive than its competitors, such as BestNotes and ZenCharts, the value delivered truly corresponds to the price paid!
Cons
The modification in the patients face sheet has become inconvenient. Now, when you print the face sheet for a file, the insurance information gets truncated and no longer fits on the first page. This makes it less practical compared to when all the information was accessible on a single page.

I rely heavily on Kipu's reporting features for coding and billing purposes as a medical coder and biller. The software's reporting capabilities are thorough accurate and quickly provide the necessary information for billing. Additionally Kipu's documentation features are excellent and allow clinicians to focus on their job while ensuring behindthescenes revenue cycle management.
Cons
While Kipu is a great software overall its utilization and customization vary among different facilities. Some facilities struggle with completing documentation in a timely manner for billing and it would be helpful to have more alerts and form templates to streamline this process. Additionally the search function could be improved to provide close matches for patient names similar to how Google suggests alternative options.

Prevounce is both user-friendly and helps us maintain Medicare compliance. The implementation te has provided excellent support, guiding us through the software and suggesting workflow changes to enhance efficiency and patient care.
Cons
If I had to express a concern about the software, it would be the absence of an integrated training portal. This occasionally requires us to seek support when encountering workflow issues. However, the support te has been exceptionally helpful, patient, and understanding of our needs.

“Efficient and Customizable Preventative Services Solution
Pros
Using Prevounce has significantly reduced our training time by guiding us through each service. With the softwares enforced compliance, we no longer worry about staff forgetting service requirements as we did when using paper-based methods. It has enabled us to bill for and receive MIPS credit for the services we were already providing but couldnt fully capitalize on. Prevounce strelines the patient handouts, allowing customization based on individual patient needs. Additionally, the personalized attention and consulting provided by the Prevounce staff have been invaluable in tailoring the software to our practice.
Cons
Although our EMR integration required a substantial investment, we decided to forgo it temporarily. As a result, it takes an additional 15-20 seconds per patient to enter information into Prevounce and transfer reports to our EMR, which can be frustrating for our staff. However, considering the time saved compared to using our EMR or paper-based methods, it is still well worth it. Initially, there were some challenges in coordinating billing aspects with Prevounce, requiring significant communication between our staff and their te. However, after the initial adjustments, the billing process has been running smoothly.

Prevounce offers a holistic progr that covers various preventative services, including Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, Chronic Care Management, and PPO mental health screenings. It consolidated three different software systems into just our EMR and Prevounce, saving us significant time and effort. The pre-emailing system for patient information strelines service delivery, and the automatic eligibility checks prevent wasting time on ineligible patients. The provision of handouts and reports by Prevounce has been highly beneficial.
Cons
The training period for Prevounce could have been shorter, as it took a couple of hours, whereas one hour would have sufficed. Initially, we had to use Prevounce without EMR integration for a few weeks, which added an extra 30-40 seconds per patient. However, we now appreciate the convenience of having it integrated.

After being out of the business for a few years I found Kipu to be a standout EMR in terms of accessibility and comfort of use. It provides an intuitive interface that is comfortable for users of various positions and experience levels. The customer service team is exceptional delivering solutions and assistance with a genuine care for their clients.
Cons
There are a few areas where Kipu's intricacy can overshadow its simplicity. Users need to remember certain nuances like the Golden Thread for seamless coordination across the platform. However overall there are very few cons with Kipu and I'm grateful for the supportive and clientfocused team behind the software.
