“Not what we were hoping for
Pros
Autoposting is exceptional. It accurately autoposts close to 100% of the time. When it can't it "flags" the RA for individual attention. During our initial conversion importing patient demographics was refreshingly simple something we could handle independently without extra costs. Entering and maintaining patient demographics is straightforward.
Cons
Reporting proves highly ineffective. Canned reports lack balance and quantifying values is challenging. Customer Service offers limited assistance particularly in addressing enrollment and claims submission issues. Difficulty persists even months later impacting productivity and resulting in numerous phone calls.

Pros
Converting to electronic medical records is a lengthy process. NextGen isn't a bad starting point but needs improvement for efficiency especially during patient check-ins. There are multiple ways to perform tasks and only some work correctly. For example when adding medications a button is labeled "add medication" but clicking it warns it won't alert you to allergic reactions rx interactions etc. Instead you must click another link to view the medication list and then add it.
