“Excessive clicks, difficult to customize

Pros

I generally find the interface simple to navigate but it often takes an excessive number of clicks to reach what I need.

Cons

Getting items added or removed is really difficult for me and I struggle to make changes.

I am really relieved by how simple upkeep is thanks to the cloud-based hosting and I find it very easy to use.

For me, the analytics could use some improvement. Also, the patient portal messaging should be clearer and provide filters so I can sort messages by provider or by the reason for contact.

I have really come to rely on ModMed because its dictation features combined with protocol templates let me create notes that reflect each patient's uniqueness while keeping charting alignd and efficient when it matters most.

As a pelvic floor physical therapist, I needed a lot of customization to tailor the system to my specific responsibilities within an Ob/Gyn clinic but surgeons and mid-level providers like DOs, MDs, or NPs typically would not face this level of setup.

I like how simple the setup process is. Plus switching from the other platforms I have worked with was very simple.

Occasionally I have trouble tracing accounting errors which makes correcting certain entries or areas noticeably more challenging.

Using ModMed on my iPad gives me great portability and I also appreciate that I can switch over to the desktop whenever I need to for more functionality.

I found that it takes quite some time at the beginning before I feel comfortable navigating the program and its features.

It lets me chart precisely on my own, so I don't have to rely on a scribe during documentation.

What I like about ModMed is how its built-in tools align patient care and simplify things like charting, scheduling and internal communication. It really helps me keep patient records tidy and accessible which backs me up in my responsibilities on the floor and when handling patient care.

Cons

On the downside, I find ModMed can be a bit slow or overly complicated, particularly because my attention is mostly on hands-on patient care rather than deep charting or extensive medical records work. It includes features I don't use often, so the system sometimes feels heavy and awkward for my day-to-day workflow.
