In my specialty practice, I find the system is specifically tailored to our workflows and needs.

Cons

I do notice a few minor workflow inefficiencies that I hope will improve over time with updates.

the support team often seems to mistrust users' abilities and focuses more on doubting us than on figuring out what's actually broken in the system.

Finding solutions to problems is really easy for me, I can usually resolve issues without much issue.

I have noticed that sometimes the cases I create require more than one try before a solution is reached.

I am impressed by the image capacity as it really simplifies charting dermatologic rashes and cosmetic procedures.

Getting support has been tricky when problems arise as I have experienced difficulty getting help in the past.

My main frustration is the lack of flexibility to edit some of the dropdown menus.

It is pretty simple to move through patients charts and I like that it lets me import medications directly from the pharmacy.

Occasionally it starts updating and stops functioning which has disrupted my workflow.

I have found the support team, the training and everyone involved to be really great to work with and genuinely helpful.

We often run into limitations and have trouble getting requested enhancements approved in a timely way.

Pros

What I like most is the single-screen layout. I genuinely think it is the best.

I'd prefer the medications to be organized alphabetically so they're easier to find.

I really like using ModMed because it's such a flexible tool that keeps everything within reach across a variety of access points and channels.

It would be helpful if ModMed let me chart two patients simultaneously, or provided a dedicated tab so I could toggle quickly between patient charts.

Pros

I have really come to rely on ModMed because its dictation features combined with protocol templates let me create notes that reflect each patient's uniqueness while keeping charting alignd and efficient when it matters most.

Cons

As a pelvic floor physical therapist, I needed a lot of customization to tailor the system to my specific responsibilities within an Ob/Gyn clinic but surgeons and mid-level providers like DOs, MDs, or NPs typically would not face this level of setup.

Pros

I like how simple the setup process is. Plus switching from the other platforms I have worked with was very simple.

Cons

Occasionally I have trouble tracing accounting errors which makes correcting certain entries or areas noticeably more challenging.

Pros

Using ModMed on my iPad gives me great portability and I also appreciate that I can switch over to the desktop whenever I need to for more functionality.

I found that it takes quite some time at the beginning before I feel comfortable navigating the program and its features.

It lets me chart precisely on my own, so I don't have to rely on a scribe during documentation.

completing patient charts involves far too many clicks which makes the process feel unnecessarily complex.

What I like about ModMed is how its built-in tools align patient care and simplify things like charting, scheduling and internal communication. It really helps me keep patient records tidy and accessible which backs me up in my responsibilities on the floor and when handling patient care.

Cons

On the downside, I find ModMed can be a bit slow or overly complicated, particularly because my attention is mostly on hands-on patient care rather than deep charting or extensive medical records work. It includes features I don't use often, so the system sometimes feels heavy and awkward for my day-to-day workflow.

I appreciate how simple all of ModMed's offerings are. Every new tool they release makes our practice run more smoothly and boosts our overall performance!

Cons

One drawback is that we cannot see the schedule template in firmadmin side-by-side with the live schedule. I have mentioned this before and know others have too but beyond that issue I have no other complaints.

“Superior billing and prior authorizations”

Pros

Been really impressed with this program. Having worked with EZ Derm, Epic and EMA before, I found EMA to be far superior. The billing features stand out as the strongest part to me and getting prior authorizations is handled very well. What I do miss from EZ Derm is the interactive body map. But overall the software is pretty easy to use and feels much more user friendly than EZ Derm was.

Cons

Although I appreciate the interactive body map that EZ Derm offers, otherwise I am really fond of ModMed for its overall functionality and performance.

Having worked with ModMed across two separate practices, I have found it incredibly user-friendly and easy to use in a daily routine.

I honestly cannot identify any real flaws with it as in my experience it's been excellent and works very well.

We had a problem and they handled it immediately, fully resolving the issue for us.

No cons as I liked their customer support as they called me right away which I found very helpful.
