Pros
Our clinical staff really appreciate the efficiency improvements they've gained since we started using it.
Cons
I have found the analytics to be hit-or-miss and I cannot run two reports at the same time which is frustrating. Filters also carry over into other reports and I'd really like a report writer that's fully customizable.

Billing claims is incredibly easy for me. I also like that claims get automatically uploaded throughout the day.

Using ModMed I find doctors charting much easier and coding user friendly.

I am frustrated by the price and the fact I have to purchase add-ons instead of ModMed incorporating advancements directly.

“Good cross-platform tool, occasional bugs
Pros
The clinical platform is good. It works on both an iPad and a computer and is fairly simple to operate. The program has a few occasional bugs but is very functional. The CPT codes and charges that generate automatically are a huge help and you can change them easily if needed. It tracks MIPS well. The company is making a stronger effort to provide support and even gave me a credit when I explained how their mistakes cost me money. I reviewed several other Pain Management EHR vendors in the last three months and none could match ModMed's features, ease of use and overall functionality.
Cons
They do have regular functionality problems they call it unplanned maintenance but they fix them quickly.

The EHR documentation is really nice. But I am also fond of its interface on the ipad because its very functional.
Cons
Their customer service is terrible and there are a lot of billing problems. The unresponsiveness of team is a major problem.

Pros
Modmed provides the absolute best combination of tools for practice management, workflow and billing. The simple operation, workflow aids, reporting and clean design make practicing dermatology much smoother. Modmed also provides helpful customer service that responds very quickly. Our practice has become much more efficient since we started using it.
Cons
There's nothing I dislike about the ModMed solution. I really wish I had started using it much earlier.

“Documentation from anywhere, easy to learn

It lets me do my documentation from anywhere with an internet connection. Very easy to learn and has options to customize visits using set protocols.
Cons
Sometimes there are outages that stop us completely for hours, forcing us to use paper and pen until it's fixed. These problems are usually fixed within a few hours. Also, there's no way to copy or move protocols from one system setup to another. This is a huge missing feature that hasn't been addressed for years. I have already had to rebuild hundreds of protocols three separate times. I am tired of it. This should be a simple thing to fix.

I really love Modmed. My charting has become so much simpler. I switched from paper charts to this. What a massive upgrade! I love that you can use it on both an iPad and a PC.
Cons

Like how everything important for patient care is all in one spot or just a few clicks away. I also like that ModMed opens a new tab every time you do something different within a patient's chart.
Cons
I wish you could schedule a patient's next appointment while you're already inside their chart. This could be improved by having a schedule appointment now button right there.

In my position as the billing manager, I find it really easy to monitor our claims and track denials.
Cons
That said, the report functionality is comprehensive but I find the report builder painfully slow to use. Also, there's no user-friendly audit trail to identify who changed a patient's demographic details.
