Top Notch Customer Service

Pros

Since becoming a customer of ModMed EMA and PM in 2016 my office has achieved streamlined workflows boosting productivity and revenue.

Cons

While the software is highly regarded it could improve its integration with other software solutions. However the company has shown receptivity to suggestions and changes.

Extremely open about financial details

Pros

I find ModMed extremely open and clear about every financial detail.

Cons

For me, the financial reports are frustratingly difficult to navigate and use.

simple end-to-end platform use

Pros

What I appreciate most is being able to use the whole platform end to end. In our practice we rely on EMA PM for patient registration and appointment scheduling and the way it ties into the EMR feels simple and reliable. Overall, I find it to be a very well-constructed system.

Cons

If I had to point out one drawback, I'd say the billing and financial section can be somewhat hard to use. Plus it is still fairly new within EMA and forces you through more clicks than necessary. It functions well enough but I wish the interface were redesigned to align tasks and cut down on wasted time.

Pros

It has the potential to become a good software for dermatology practices.

Cons

The communication channels are not defined and customer service is very poor. They do not care about small practices at all.

Pros

EHR is incredible. They keep you informed and are continuously up to date with all modern and vital data that relates to your practice. They are putting webinars out there so many alternatives for preparing and information issues.

Cons

When an issue emerges, in some cases you cannot reach somebody specifically, and sending off a mail isnt always helpful.

Pros

Its just that I like the marketing material available.

Cons

Summary of experience

Pros

The software holds promise for dermatology but my experience was marred by inadequate company training and unfulfilled promises. I felt that small dermatology practices were treated unfairly.

Cons

The leaderships focus on Modernizing Medicines bottom line and their poor communication about contracts resulted in a disappointing experience.

Destitute client benefit. Promoted highlights dont work well

Pros

Uncertain. It has exceptionally pleasant showcasing material.

Cons

Don't prescribe this computer program. The backline doesn't pick up. You are cleared out on your own possess to troubleshoot issues. It is exceptionally expensive. Many of the promoted highlights dont work well.

Amazing team and software

Pros

Honestly, this software has made me three times more productive. I can cater to three patients in the time that it took me to cater to one in the past. Their support staff is amazing and listens well; requested features are always included in newer versions which are great.

Cons

Initially, it seemed daunting to learn the software since it was a little complicated but with use over time, you are able to navigate through it easily!

Best EHR I've used

Pros

EMA or Electronic Medical Assistant significantly increased productivity and aided in meticulous and rapid charting. Frequent updates and responsive tech support were appreciated.

Cons

While the software had a steep learning curve initially users adapted quickly. However occasional coding errors resulting from updates required correction.

The EMA system was intuitive featuring robust analytics and an easily navigable PM system.

Pros

Very easy to understand and simple to report injuries and their treatment. I can easily report my interactions with dermatology patients who for the most part have various Chief Complaints and different methodologies rapidly and effectively.

Cons

It is honestly costly and the ongoing support that one requires isn’t that cheap.

Pros

A fantasy item! Simple and easy to edit and modify. Makes different EMRs resemble a mechanical typewriter. It is easy to use. It makes charting a delight, certainty, and precise. It rarely has any downtimes. It feels like it is made for the provider, charging PM framework functions admirably. A provider’s blessing from heaven. It can be used on Laptop or IPAD.

Cons

They dont have it for Primary Care yet. Also, it doesn’t really read what I want it to do.

Very Satisfied Otolaryngology Practice

Pros

Our doctors are highly satisfied with the iPad device and weve improved our staff efficiency maintaining the same clinical workload with fewer employees. The integrated clearing house and pointofsale merchant services have boosted our collections by 10 compared to our previous system.

Cons

Modernizing Medicine frequently updates its products which is generally appreciated but it can be challenging to keep up with the release notes and some updates have broken old features. The company could benefit from better alphabeta testing and should enhance ancillary service features such as audiology and allergy which are on their roadmap.
