“easy but tasks are confusing
Pros
It is easy to maneuver and use without a lot of effort. Specifically, I really like the structure and completeness of the progress notes for patients.
Cons
I have a difficult time with the tasks feature. It's hard to figure out who received a task, who answered it or if it's still just pending.

“the best all-in-one software
Pros
It's a very user-friendly, one-size-fits-all software for our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). In my opinion, it's one of the best healthcare software systems out there in the industry.
Cons

“Good tool but sometimes slow
Pros
What I like is how self-explanatory the whole system is. It's not confusing, and that makes it incredibly easy to learn, even for new staff.
Cons
Sometimes it can get a little too slow. And whenever something in the system is down, it sometimes takes the whole day to fix.

Pros
I've found that Mod Med is very user-friendly. I never feel lost because it's just easy to use and find my way around.
Cons
I happen to learn by doing so the preliminary courses and tests didn't let me actually navigate the app. I liked it much better when we started "working" in ModMed live.

“Smooth on pc, not ipad
Pros
The ease of documentation is a huge plus for me. It's especially smooth when I'm using it on the PC; everything just feels quick and efficient.
Cons
I prefer using the PC to the iPad for documenting. I wish there was an option to make the iPad version look the same as it does on the PC.

“clean but needs payment search
Pros
I really love the user interface & it's clean and not cluttered. The tool bar across the top is especially useful because it has so much information right at my fingertips. From my perspective as a payment poster, the Financial tab is particularly well-organized and makes my job simpler.
Cons
I don't like that there's no way to search by payment amount when you're in the ERA tab posting insurance payments. That would be a great feature to add. Also, I wish the average user could run more financial reports.

“Quick and detailed charts
Pros
My favorite thing is how easy it is to chart while still being incredibly detailed. It doesn't force me to choose between speed and thoroughness, which is a huge relief.
Cons
It's frustrating when I need a not-so-common diagnosis code and it's missing from the system.

“fast but kiosk is slow
Pros
It's just so quick and fast! I call it the "click, click, done" method because that's what it feels like. I can get through tasks without any unnecessary steps slowing me down.
Cons
The process for patients at the kiosk can take way too long. Some of the questions like asking for their birth weight, are just unnecessary and should be removed!

The easy interface genuinely makes my job and my life easier, especially when I'm doing my notes. I'm a big fan of the pre-made plans and templates; they save me so much time and mental energy.
Cons
It really needs a dedicated template for wound care physical exams. I handle a lot of wound care and that would be so helpful.

I find the navigation in ModMed to be very smooth. Whether I'm scheduling appointments or finding a specific patient's chart, the accessibility makes everything very simple.
Cons
I wish we could keep our passwords for a little longer instead of having to change them all the time.

“convenient and boosts revenue
Pros
It's convenient, easy to use and super time-efficient. It keeps patient flow productive and has even helped add to our business revenue. It's a great system and, in my opinion, the best one on the market!
Cons
I have not experienced any cons. I really haven't had any bad experiences with Modmed.

“Natural flow but follow-ups lag
Pros
The system has a very easy, natural flow. I especially like that you can pre-populate what you want in the charges like for a full body skin exam and then just make quick edits. It's a fantastic time-saver.
Cons
In the follow-up section of a patient's chart, I'd like to be able to pre-populate the reasons for the visit. Right now, I always have to pick "other" and then type it out at the bottom because the specific reason isn't listed even when it's for a standard follow-up.

“it gets the job done
Pros
We can link the last visit's note directly to the current day's visit. It saves us from having to do a lot of digging for past information, which is a huge time-saver.
Cons
A freetype option would be a better choice. This system requires way too much scrolling and clicking, when I could save time by just typing. I also don't like how, when I check vision, if the patient was pinholed, the top of the screen shows the pinholed vision instead of the original. Sometimes I need to know what the original vision was and it's inconvenient to find.

I appreciate how simple it is to go through the entire patient note process. It guides you along without making it feel complicated or tedious.

“Easy but bills wrong
Pros
Putting in patient information is very easy. The fields make sense and it doesn't feel like a chore to get all the necessary details entered into the system.
Cons
Sometimes the "allowed amount" column isn't correct and the patient ends up getting a bill in the mail that they shouldn't have gotten.
