As a healthcare practice with multiple sites in different areas, we have found that Nextech provides excellent integration across all of our practices. This feature really helps to ensure that everything works together smoothly, without any disruptions.

Sometimes problems with the internet can make the system run slower, and this is something beyond our control.

Pros

I find Nextch much easier to customize, train my staff on, and monitor patients with, which makes it a best choice for my ophthalmology practice. Its simplicity in these areas adds a lot of value and makes it easier for me to meet the unique needs of my eye care practice.

Cons

There are not enough personalization options when it comes to discussions, and I also face difficulties when trying to upload images.

Nextech makes entering charges and sending billing to the clearing house easy. It efficiently tracks global billing periods and facilitates smooth charge transmission.

I have trouble with billing secondary claims, and I would really appreciate a user friendly error correction process.

The software requires an excessive amount of clicking, which can be rather cumbersome for me.

The reporting system requires improvements because it does not offer enough advanced customization options for my needs.

The reporting options give us helpful insights for making administrative decisions, which is a big step up from the weak reporting features we had before. This new capabilities lets us understand our data better and make smart choices that benefit our practice.

Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the implementation process because the full transfer of data from the old EHR has not been completed yet, even though Nextech suggested it should be done.

The product is very user-friendly, which made my experience with it quite positive. Also, the help I received from Nextech employees was very helpful. Their guidance made the integration process feel much more manageable and less overwhelming for me.

The merger of the PM & EHR brought some unexpected changes on the EHR, such as the removal of the patient merge button. Also, the integration mapping needs to be explained more clearly, and I have faced problems when trying to import data.

After more than nine years of using Nextech MDI, I have noticed that it consistently provides a high level of usability. This reliability makes it simple for me to adjust the software to fit the different practices I work with. Also, the image integration and navigation features are very useful. They help me efficiently manage patient information and improve my overall workflow, making my tasks much smoother.

Cons

Relying on the cloud can create issues during disruptions or when there is poor internet connectivity. It would be a valuable addition if there were a local server option that allowed me to download and access charts locally.
