Pros
They offer a variety of financial reports. The practice management service is wonderful. The system itself is very user-friendly. The inventory organization makes things very easy. There is a commission-oriented module that works great for aestheticians. Keeping track of things is quite convenient. Works great even with different sites requiring data communication. Requesting claims is simple. if you make an error, the system automatically detects and flags it so you can edit and resend it.
Cons
The EMR part needs a lot of improvement. There is cluttering which can be overwhelming and difficult to work around. The interface could be more user-friendly. Doctors have to go through several extra steps to enter/access data.

Cons
We are using nextechs on-premise data servers which have high maintenance fees. For me, interface is a let down as it gives an outdated feel.

I am CNP who is not the least bit tech-savvy, hence it took me a while to learn how to navigate and make the best of this system but the support staff was incredibly courteous and helped me throughout the process. They walked me through all the steps towards Meaningful Use. The possibilities are endless with this Nextech. It allows me to make customizations that fit my preferences. Although, you have to set it up to make the full of it which was at first troublesome then ended up saving so much time and effort in our day to day work experience.
Cons
Having to make your own stamps can be a hassle. It would be a great help if the company would offer stampers to new practices who buy their system to help them get started with it.
