Pros

As a dermatology specialist Nextech's customization options simplify patient records practice management and strategic decisionmaking enhancing the overall patient experience.

Great customer support. Been using for more than half a decade

Pros

They offer a variety of financial reports. The practice management service is wonderful. The system itself is very user-friendly. The inventory organization makes things very easy. There is a commission-oriented module that works great for aestheticians. Keeping track of things is quite convenient. Works great even with different sites requiring data communication. Requesting claims is simple. if you make an error, the system automatically detects and flags it so you can edit and resend it.

Cons

The EMR part needs a lot of improvement. There is cluttering which can be overwhelming and difficult to work around. The interface could be more user-friendly. Doctors have to go through several extra steps to enter/access data.

Our office has been using Nextech Practice Management for 7 years. Customer service is excellent.

Pros

Very userfriendly excellent customer service and efficient financial reports inventory and commissionbased modules make Nextech valuable for estheticians in multiple locations.

Cons

Disapproval of the overwhelming nature of the EMR urging a more userfriendly approach to reduce complexity.

A mediocre software with an awfull support

Pros

Despite numerous reports available especially for marketing the user desires easier data export options.

Cons

Issues with the SMS Reminder module and unresponsive support causing frustration and a consideration of alternative options.

It possess basic functionalities

Pros

It is a customizable EMR, has efficient charting, has a good workflow control, is suitable to various specialities and can be used on a tablet with cloud based technology.

Cons

We are using nextechs on-premise data servers which have high maintenance fees. For me, interface is a let down as it gives an outdated feel.

Nickel and dimed for everything with long delays in support. No Thanks. Switching after 10 years of head aches with Nextech.

Pros

Initially perceived as comprehensive Nextech's pros have been overshadowed by a growing list of cons with other costeffective options available in the market.

Cons

Criticisms include the expensive nature of the software a nickelanddime business model and prolonged phone wait times for support. The perception is that the company is regressing rather than improving.

Pros

The best thing about the product is that it allows me to complete a task in just a few clicks.

Cons

It has a poor support system. The customer support executives possess basic knowledge and come across as inexpereinced. Unreliable HL-7 connection

Reliable and trustworthy support staff

Pros

It has great support staff. My tickets were resolved in a few minutes. For complicated support cases, I received full on call support.

Cons

The software is a bit difficult to operate in the start and has so many options to set up. Sometimes, it becomes diificult to cope up with changes.

Nextech review

Pros

Basic reporting features and limited functions. Data exporting is really poor and cumbersome.

Cons

In my opinion, customer support is non-cooperative and price points for add-on services andconsultations frequently change in benefit of the company.

High flexibility. Great Software

Pros

I am CNP who is not the least bit tech-savvy, hence it took me a while to learn how to navigate and make the best of this system but the support staff was incredibly courteous and helped me throughout the process. They walked me through all the steps towards Meaningful Use. The possibilities are endless with this Nextech. It allows me to make customizations that fit my preferences. Although, you have to set it up to make the full of it which was at first troublesome then ended up saving so much time and effort in our day to day work experience.

Cons

Having to make your own stamps can be a hassle. It would be a great help if the company would offer stampers to new practices who buy their system to help them get started with it.
