Pros
This company is suspected to engage in predatory business practices as far as I can tell. The better business bureau has been notified.
Cons
They will not only take legal action against their own customers, they will not even finish setting up their own software in order for you to utilize it. This company is not to be trusted in my experience.

Looks pretty. Marketing is decent.
Cons
No one in this company actually knows what they are doing. Daily outages across the entirety of Nextech (all practices using this) and terrible support. They answer the phone just fine, but that's so they can take a note and NOT get back to you. The PM and EHR don't work together well, and it's just altogether one of the worst EHRs.

“Dont waste your money on nextech
Pros
I can't say anything good about this company. They've been rude and unprofessional. Would suggest finding a provider who actually has integrity and keeps their word.
Cons
The contract renews automatically and they expect you to pay even if you dont want to use it . They're really difficult to deal with and all they care about is getting their money. Honestly the system isnt that great either. Its costly and there are other EMR and PM alternatives out there that are way better, I would recommend looking at alternatives like Symplast, Patient Now or Mod Med.

I really liked how all the visits were displayed on one tab. Made everything so much easier to find and keep track of.
Cons
There are way too many pages to sort through and its not always easy to find what I need.

“Links to your lab company
Pros
What I really appreciate is being able to link my lab company to the EHR. I get patient results right away without having to chase them down or call multiple times to get the results. Its been a time saver.
Cons
Rescheduling appointments is a pain. One area that doesnt save time. I have to copy and paste and then cancel the existing appointment. It feels like there are too many steps and a simple right click to reschedule would be so much quicker especially in a busy doctor's office.

Pros
Appreciate that it is cloud based making it easy to store everything without ever running out of space.
Cons
Running reports is complicated task. Its hard to even find them and when I do theyre not very easy to use. Sometimes reports with the same data show up differently which is confusing.

Pros
Not using the PM function right now but we're planning to start using it. The EHR is really simple to use and training on it is not diificult eaither.
Cons
We are unable to load our forms into the EHR for patients to fill out or to complete in the clinic. More advanced reporting features and better capabilities are needed.

Pros
After using Nextech PM+ for four years, I can confidently say it is one of the more efficient EMRs. It becomes quite smooth to use once the UI is understood.
Cons
Autoloading the previous profile when switching to another patient can be a minor inconvenience for me.
