“Complete electronic health records and administration”
Pros
The support team helped set up the software, and I like its cloud-based accessibility. Some software issues resolve themselves over time.
Cons
Certain field entries, like phone numbers and social security numbers, could be more user-friendly. Plus, the lack of experience with other electronic health systems makes it hard to compare.

“Nextgen”
Pros
We were formerly using 3 systems for our practice. February 2018, we consolidated every one of the 3 systems and began using just NextGen. This has enabled us to have everything in one program and didnt need to hop around to various systems. We are additionally ready to scan all the records into this program so for comfort alone this has been an enormous efficient device.
Cons
The functionality of the claims processing can be a bit confusing, but the support team is great and always helps us out.

“crash-prone and no remote access”
Pros
One thing about NextGen is that many of the data entry fields offer drop-down pop-up boxes where I can just select the option I need instead of typing everything out.
Cons
It feels clunky to navigate because there are so many screens and I am constantly flipping between tabs which interrupts workflow. The application also tends to crash fairly often. I cannot access it from home either, though I get that remote access is restricted to protect sensitive medical records.
