“We use EDR/EPM and it has helped alleviate all of our paper charts which has been piling up.”
Pros
The recall tracking in EPM is excellent as it automatically generates reminders for patient appointments. EDR has significantly improved efficiency by eliminating paper charts and enabling faster provider charting.
Cons
EDR lacks the ability to retrieve patient estimates for those with private insurance resulting in manual calculations that take 5-7 minutes for assistants.
