The posting and running of financial and revenue cycle reports are valuable. I particularly enjoy using charge entry edits. Overall I believe this software is excellent and meets all the needs of my practice.
Cons
The only drawback is the COB window in payment posting with ERA. I disagree with the requirement for balancing. It would be beneficial to have more settings available when running the balancing report for financial purposes.

I dislike the redundancy within NextGen where multiple places are available to document the same information. The number of clicks required is also a frustration. It would be highly beneficial to have the ability to document more information on a single screen. Additionally closing pop-up HPI boxes to access lab results is inconvenient.
