Reliable billing from anywhere

Pros

One thing that really works well with NueMD is its solid billing tools for mid-sized healthcare systems. It does a good job supporting other integrated software that may be missing billing and scheduling features so everything works better together. Another big plus is being able to access patient files from anywhere with a stable internet connection, instead of having to be in the office.

Cons

The downside is that customer support can be slow to respond especially when technical problems come up or when I have billing-related questions.

Lacks integrated charting

Pros

The scheduling part of the product was fairly decent and worked well enough.

Cons

Having to write my notes in Microsoft Word was a real downside since there wasn't any integrated system built in.

flexible scheduling and service options

Pros

Right away the simple layout made it convenient to extend schedules whenever needed. It also gives enough flexibility to support a variety of services which helps when you need to accommodate different types of care.

Cons

It's fairly expensive and it does freeze from time to time which can slow down your work.

Solid claims support

Pros

Claims processing works really well and the support team has been very helpful.

Easy accounting integration

Pros

Billing is simple, and it also connects with our accounting software, which makes it really convenient. I appreciate how the electronic records are well-organized.

Lacks essential features

Pros

It is very easy to use, even for novice users, and includes all the essential features that I might need.

Cons

There were many more functions in the other EHR software and this one does not support EDI claims either.

Doesn't fully meet my needs

Pros

NueMD is more affordable for me compared to the other options available in the market.

Cons

The customer service is bad, and they were no help when we wanted to solve the problems we were having with the prescription.

user-friendly scheduling tools

Pros

Most of the time we rely on it for scheduling and adding new patients. It's very simple to use and even without any training, it's simple to figure out how to enter patient details and book appointments.

Cons

Some of the reports don't function properly and a few important ones are missing. For example, there should be a report that shows all patients entered for the day or month even if they haven't been scheduled yet, along with their contact information.

Once better, now lacking

Pros

This software makes billing very easy for me, and I love all the different features it includes.

Cons

Modifying templates is difficult to me and the updates have stopped rolling out after they changed ownership.

Poor service and tool expensive

Pros

I am unable to identify any pros at this time. It seems there are no clear advantages or positive aspects to mention.

Cons

The billing module was terrible and I needed a specialist to figure it out. Their helpline does not work and I was paying a lot for a software that I couldnt get any use out of.

Highly recommend

Pros

The software appears to be proficient and features pleasant colors. However, it has led us to become more creative, requiring us to come up with our own "workarounds." These solutions, though necessary to make the software usable for our needs, are costly and add expenses to our practice.

Cons

It has a bit of a learning curve for me.

Nothing good to say

Pros

Honestly, there are NO pros. They kept making useless updates which made no sense and helped no one.

Cons

I am a doctor, not an IT specialist. The software was so hard to navigate through that I would end up calling them every time I even tried!

Frustrating to navigate daily

Pros

Honestly there wasn't much that worked well for me. The system was hard to use, adding new DX codes meant reaching out to a billing specialist and finding older accounts or even checking whether they had been paid took way too much digging.

Cons

The software itself was okay but it was far too difficult to use especially for a doctor who isn't an IT person. Anytime I needed help with anything, I ended up having to call someone.

Pros

Billing features I really enjoyed

Pros

The feature set was excellent and billing was especially simple to handle.

Cons

Changing templates took a bit of effort. Overall the software worked really well until AdvancedMD took over and updates stopped. It also started running much slower after the transition.
