“The Best Practice Management Software
Pros
I've used Dentrix and Eaglesoft before using Open Dental, and I have to say that Open Dental is by far the best. Everything is easy, simple to learn, and highly customizable. Managing patient records and tracking claims and payments is a breeze. Their customer support is incredibly helpful, and the backlog of webinars and videos are perfect training tools for learning the software. On top of the great functionality, the cost is incredibly affordable, making selecting Open Dental a no-brainer.
Cons
The only downside I've encountered is the extra steps required to undo mistakes. Aside from that, it's quite user-friendly.

Having used Dentrix and Eaglesoft before switching to Open Dental, I can confidently say it's the best choice. Everything is smooth, easy to learn, and highly customizable. Managing patient records, claims, and payments is effortless. Their customer support is incredibly helpful, and their extensive webinars and videos are invaluable for learning the software. Besides its functionality, the affordability of Open Dental makes it an obvious choice.
Cons
The only downside I've noticed is that reversing mistakes can involve extra steps. Other than that, it's very user-friendly.

One of the things I love most about Open Dental is how customizable it is. In so many areas of the software, I can make it look and feel exactly how I want. Their customer service is amazing. I can call or chat with them anytime and always get a timely response.

This software makes my life so much easier as an administrator. The accounts are easy to read. Billing and insurance payments are a breeze, and I can email directly from the account if a patient owes after putting in insurance payments.
Cons
It would be helpful to have an option for printing or emailing entire family appointments, separate from statements. This would greatly assist in keeping our patients' appointments organized.
