A reliable product

Pros

OSCAR EMR is very easy to use, which makes the process of training staff a simple task. As we wasted no time on training and our employees able start using the system right away after switching. So yes it is definitely a great option if you're looking for EMR services for your practice.

Cons

I dont think there are any cons for me to report for this software.

The best thing about this product is that we use it for all our departments and it helps us to keep a common database which is easily trackable and accessible. Impressive work.

Affordable choice for small practices

Pros

Amazing interface which makes it very use friendly. Report production and billing features are very accurate with respect to reference. I chose this because it was functional with a very effective cost.

Cons

OSCAR EMR needs improvements in development, and I have noticed that the visuals are a bit off and not the easiest on the eyes.

Meets basic requirements

Pros

OSCAR EMR can be used for all the services in all of our departments which gives us a large database in one place.

Cons

Theres no way of linking family members together and it lacks a lot of features that would help our business. Also it crashes once a month which costs us a lot.

Good and budget-friendly

Pros

Oscar is intuitive and easy to use making it accessible for the average user. Also it's setup and item location are logical and the billing mechanisms and reports are valuable. And it's cost effectiveness is especially beneficial for nonprofit organizations like ours.

Cons

It is an open-source software and because of that it doesn't have continuous development, which is a major drawback. Also the interface is not very visually appealing and the screen layout feels cluttered to me. Often, completing tasks takes more clicks than necessary. And unfortunately, because there is no ongoing development, these issues are still around.

It's a blend of good and bad

Pros

OSCAR EMR has pretty decent functionality, and it is easy to access the information I need. And the fact that it's web-based and offers remote options is definitely a plus. I also really like that I can customize preferences to fit our clinic's specific needs which makes tailoring the software to our requirements so much easier.

Cons

Unfortunately our experience with the support team particularly with Peter Everette has not been good. Dealing with him in case of any issues or problems has proven to be difficult due to his lack of customer service skills. He often displays condescending behavior, arrogance and a reluctance to admit any mistakes. And instead of providing simple solutions he tends to redirect and engage in arguments making the problemsolving process unnecessarily complicated. This experience has been shared not only by me but also by other colleagues and our clinic manager. It's regrettable that such difficulties arise when interacting with him given his position as the owner of the company.
