My role in using PIMSY has been in assisting with customization for our company's use of the system and in teaching employees how to use it. In the future, I will use the system

There is always a lot of change, but I see that as an overall improvement of the system.

Pros

It is nice to no longer have to print multiple documents, and the system allows for more efficient means of accessing clients' records. The system seems fairly easy to use with the support of our training manual. However, it was difficult to get used to having multiple tabs to complete a document, such as the comprehensive assessment and treatment plan. The process of completing these documents takes longer than it did with the old system.

With Ian's quick response time, cons are worked out in no time and addressed.

Pros

I would highly recommend Pimsy to other therapists who are looking to streamline their paperwork at a reasonable monthly cost. To me, the most important thing about an EMR is to have the features that I need, have it customizable to my business, whether big or small, and to be able to use those features. I don't care if it is the best program in the world; if I can't use it, then it doesn't help me. Pimsy has the features that I need and the customer support to teach me how to use them. I feel my hours of research for a good EMR company have paid off. Pimsy more than pays for itself by streamlining my office, improving efficiency, and reducing billing times. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good EMR company that will help implement its program and assist with any questions along the way.

Cons

There are a few features that I would love to see implemented into PIMSY. For instance, the automatic messaging program is still in the beta stage, and I feel like it needs a few more features before I would want to use it for my company. However, because PIMSY is a customer-centered business, they take customer suggestions for improvements and try to implement them in their next quarterly update. So if I ever run across something that I would like to see or perhaps a simple thing that I think would be helpful, I can just submit a support ticket, and they will add it to their list of things to look at for the next update.

I have an overall understanding of the software, and I love it.

I see that some items in the system need to be updated for billing and client files when saving.

I am very excited to merge my SAL calendar with my Google calendar and would also be interested in accessing the Pimsy program through the web.

I am still having trouble routing our electronic payments through the 835 file, but I'm sure once I take some time to troubleshoot, the problem will be quickly resolved.

Pros

I highly recommend this product. Since being in this industry, I have used four different programs. For the price, this far exceeds anything that I have used. The staff are awesome at answering my questions and walking me through any difficulties! There are so many features that I don't even use, and they keep adding more!

Cons

There are none that have NOT been worked out perfectly!

I would definitely recommend Pimsy to other treatment facilities.

I find that the program is geared more towards adults and is not created for social services for children.
