Pros
From my experience, PIMSY feels like a system built specifically for mental and behavioral health organizations of different sizes. Even smaller practices can really benefit from it. I also feel confident using it because the data protection measures are strong, which is important in this field.
Cons
What throws me off is how the calendar behaves. I wish I could easily view a client's past appointments along with the upcoming ones right from the dropdown instead of clicking around to find that information.

Pros
I really appreciate how quickly new claim formats can be created when insurance companies change their requirements. I also like that I can set up the system to match the workflow that already feels natural for our organization instead of having to rework everything.
Cons
Setting up different security access levels has been tough for me especially when many coworkers rely on different parts of the system. When one person adjusts something, it can unintentionally affect everyone else and that makes things confusing.

Cons

For our agency, which sees thousands of sessions a year, PIMSY has fit our needs well. As we've grown, their team has guided us in adjusting features to support our changing workflows. There are still many features we haven't even used yet so it feels like there is room to expand over time.
Cons
My main issue isn't with the software but with not having enough time to really dig into everything it can do. There's so much available that I haven't fully used yet.

Pros
I've been using PIMSY since 2015 and I honestly appreciate how much support I've received over the years. As a solo practitioner, it has taken a huge amount of administrative weight off my shoulders. I was given one-on-one help customizing the system to how I work including how I process visual information. Submitting claims, handling payments, scheduling, documentation and secure video sessions are all built into one setup, which keeps everything connected. The automatic switch to backup video when the main provider went down once was a life saver. I also like that updates are clearly communicated. The support team stands out in how quick and genuine they are, and I've seen them actually take user suggestions seriously. Even after natural disasters affected their local area, the system never went down. The pricing feels fair for what I'm able to do inside one platform and I recommend it to anyone needing an EHR that supports compliance, billing and documentation all in one space.
Cons
I honestly don't have a complaint here. Anytime I needed something changed or needed clarification, their team responded and helped me work through it.

Cons
I realized most of the difficulty I had came from my own habits, not the software. The system itself is solid. Once I adapted, I felt more comfortable working across different areas.

“An Assett to Agency Operations”
Pros
I love how customizable Pimsy is. While other systems in the same price range might be a bit more user-friendly, they are highly cookie-cutter in nature and lack the customization options that Pimsy allows. I found that other systems with similar customization features were MUCH higher in cost. These features enable me to run unique reports and gather very specific (and extensive) data for research efforts. I also found the amount of development time included in the startup rates very generous. My staff have no problem navigating the system after the usual learning curve. Pimsy has been a huge time-saver on both the clinical and administrative fronts.
Cons
I feel like Pimsy is on par with competitors and gives the most value for the money. There are very few obstacles that the Pimsy team has not been able to either resolve or identify a workaround for.

PIMSY provides one-stop shopping for everything a mental health practice could need in software. It has an easy-to-use client database (with sections for scanning in documents), can take payments and apply charges to a client's account, and has a scheduling feature. It also offers great customer service from the PIMSY staff. There are plenty of reports available for running everything from balances owed by clients to finding monthly account receivables, and if there are notes not yet started by clinicians.
Cons
It has to be connected to the internet, so if the web connection drops, the software will shut down. This can be difficult when working in inclement weather.

Pros
It has been great for my company as we've been able to build custom documents that fit the needs of our clients. I enjoy being able to be a power user, manage all of my employees, and easily assist them when they need help. I like being mobile in the community while using the Pimsy portal. When working with clients, it has increased productivity as employees can easily access the documents they need during sessions or care coordination meetings. The layout of PIMSY has been user-friendly, and employees have been able to navigate the system easily.
Cons
PIMSY freezes quite often, and there have been glitches that development has not yet been able to fix, but they have tried hard to help me. I am on the professional platform, which is nice, but PIMSY continually reminds me that I could have the Platinum, but I just cannot afford it. The portal is hard to navigate, and employees are not always able to capture signatures.

Pimsy's well-trained staff has made using the Pimsy product a breeze. My agency transitioned from paper files to electronic paperless files easily without compromising the integrity and quality of our existing documentation. The well-trained staff took my agency's documentation to the next level. Equally important, Pimsy's software is user-friendly; with hands-on practice, I became a pro in no time as long as I put in the work.
